This time, the Iron Man MK3 kit that I have been anxiously awaiting finally arrived, so this will be an assembly video of it.
It was shipped right after it was released, but the fact that it was sent back to China after being stalled at customs delayed its arrival a lot.
I kind of made it an ASMR video, so let's digest what I wanted to say in the overview section, which no one will see.
This kit was one of the biggest boxes ever and had a lot of contents.
It is well made, with metal parts for the parts under load and a light emitting unit that can be easily switched on and off with a magnet.
You don't have to disassemble it every once in a while, which is great.
The kit comes pre-painted with runners, and I was ready to repaint if the paint quality was not good enough, but the candy paint was clean enough.
The scale is mysterious and huge at 1/9.
It also came with a quality pedestal.
The problem is the accuracy of the dowels.
They were painted on top of the already tight molding, so they didn't go in very well.
It took quite a long time to assemble with the large amount of undergates.
Maybe the manufacturer only assembled unpainted.
Although many undergates are used, gate marks appear in rather conspicuous places, which is quite mysterious.
Nevertheless, when the kit is completed, it is quite satisfactory, with excellent mobility, faithful design to the original work (the shoulder armor seems to have been enlarged for mobility), and beautifully glossy painted surface.
It was a good kit that was worth the price.
