I love that Doctor Youn is honest about the what I would call unethical and immoral side of the industry.

Doctor Youn is the only plastic surgeon I’ve ever seen who doesn’t look like a plastic surgeon. He looks great and natural; doesn’t have that ‘one surgery too far’ look.

This is one of the very few channels talking about plastic surgery where I feel absolutely fine with not getting some myself. Honestly, I hate it when plastic surgeons unquestioned explain, what they would change in the face of an attractive woman to perfect it. That just makes me feel so uncomfortable with my own apperance. I love that Dr. Youn recommends other treatments than surgery first - we should all care about our skin, also just to prevent it from feeling dry or being overly sensitive, but if your comfortable with you appearance, that's awesome and not a problem.

So, the TikTok reaction guy about Anthony/Black Alien Project got one very big detail wrong: no surgeons were involved in his body modifications. The image that attempts to look like a surgical theatre is a tattoo parlor in Mexico. And that’s how/why he’s been able to get these things done: he’s not using the medical system or surgeons, he’s using the deep body mod community (sometimes considered dark mod a la dark web) to do these procedures.

He always seems so compassionate and looks genuinely sorrowful for these people.

I've learned the hard way to love myself as I am. Decades ago I got breast implants but I didn't react well to the silicone. I spent 3 years thereafter getting sicker and sicker. Eventually I was Dx'd with SLE. I had the implants removed but I've never been right ever since. Lesson learned.

Doctor, I’m a 52 year old woman who lives in small town America and hear that all the young women (in their 20’s and 30’s) are having Botox and Fillers routinely! I’ve had 2 Septo/Rhinoplasty’s and another nasal surgery by an EMT when I was 16 and have no knowledge of what they did to me but the first one made a real mess found during the 2nd one which lasted 20 years and was in need of a Revison with this time needing: Nasal Valve Reconstruction, Resection of Septum, Septoplasty, Resection of Choncha Bullosa, and Rhinplasty with insertion of donor rib cartilage. I was teased about my nose in school by the boys repeatedly and one guy even told me he really liked me but, my nose was way too big for him to go out with me. Yeah. I was 15. I’ve had braces and 2 veneers where I broke my 2 front teeth out and my nose that was already large with a hump also got smashed when I was in 3rd grade so, not only was it large, but it was really crooked and I couldn’t breathe through my nose well. To see all these perfectly attractive young people changing their facial dynamics permanently at an age where they aren’t even matured mentally, really makes me feel bad where we’re at as a society. We are way too obsessed about our appearance thanks to social media and certain celebrities helping to create unreal body expectations where they must fit every single beauty trend at once:large lips, small noses, long eyelashes, full and heavy brows, almond shaped eyes or even more drastic Foxy eyes which who knows will do what to your vision later in life. Every woman wants big boobs, cinched waist, ample buttocks, and on and on. People start to look like caricatures and then they even photoshop what they’ve surgically altered because even that isn’t perfect enough for them. All the pictures of people staring at themselves in their phones and it’s actually embarrassing for me to look at and it’s not even me! I just can’t believe that people are so obsessed with themselves superficially. 😢It’s not easy seeing the hands of time on one’s face but nothing will stop time or fool it. I feel like I had a legitimate reason for plastic surgery because my nose had been altered by an accident which really damaged its function and affected my self esteem immensely and even now, that wounded person I was because I felt disfigured, is still inside me though it’s voice still whispers inside me because it’s still not exactly as I wanted it to turn out. Everyone tells me it looks good , but I see some imperfections though thankfully, it is markedly improved as a whole. I have a strange feeling sometimes because 2 different doctors pretty much made my nose in their perception of what looks good on me and within the bounds of what was possible for them to do based on my unique situation. You don’t always get what you want or what you think is what you need. Unless you are really bothered about some feature or 2, that affects your mental health and state of well being, leave well enough alone! Quit being so hard on yourself and look at yourself with the same eyes that you look at your family with. I appreciate that this doctor isn’t the kind to tell you all your flaws when you’re there to talk about one particular concern.

I’m 60, no wrinkles, no bags under my eyes. I’m told often, that I look 10yrs younger. But I’m not particularly easy on the eye! That hasn’t stopped me from dating some very handsome guys and gals. It’s my sense of humour, that’s got me through my adult life. I’m not going through any extreme procedures to make look “pretty”. I was in a cafe, and a teenage girl walked up to me, and said “ you’re ugly”. I replied “ you’re so pretty, why do you have an ugly heart?”. Even her friends walked away.

I will never submit myself to such procedures! My skin develops keloids on each scar, the anti pox vaccine I had at 5 let my arm with two keloids still visible until these days and I'm 68!

i feel horrible for people who get face surgery done. your face is unique, your face is what people see when they look at you. why would you want to change your face? i adore faces. everyone's face is unique and different, noses, eyes, cheeks, moles, blackheads, acne, eyebrows, lips, teeth, ears, hair, whatever, however, you're beautiful. i love all my friends faces. they all have unique features that help define their appearance. not to mention how beautiful everyone's human body is in general. no matter the size, wether or not you have implants, wether or not you have prosthetics, wether or not you've had amputations or deformities, if you have scars from anything, if you have body hair, if you have anything you're insecure about, remember there are people like me who would see you and think you're beautiful. i absolutely adore the way strangers look, they're all so unique and different.

im not sure if my anatomy is correct but i think the implants cause all those stretches and sagging is because their only support is the skin on the underboob, while normal breast tissue is also attached to the rib cage which provides additional support

As a 63 year woman I can't understand why you need cosmetic surgery . Plastic surgery is totally different for many children with hair lip etc. And other facial deformities. Research an Adelaide doctor in South Australia helping children with facial deformities. Cosmetic is vain.

In my late 40s, I went in to a wonderful surgeon, well known all of that one of the best in my state. I had surgery two things done at once, lower eyelids and breast implants under the muscle. Let me backtrack a moment… My husband went in and had eyelid surgery by the same surgeon, and it turned out wonderful. He only had minimal this that and the other basically no issues. So after he held about six months later, I went and had mine surgery lower eyelids and breast implants. I went from a 34B a 34 large C/small D cup. They look beautiful. They were too big for my shoulder, width my hips, which were a little. I was real thin, but I had the more small waist with the slightly curved hips and it was amazing. But when I came out and they woke me up from the anesthesia. I couldn’t even stand I couldn’t function, I was shaking I couldn’t get dressed on my own. The pain was so horrific from the massive stretching of the muscles, that I was throwing up on the way home I couldn’t quit shaking. I had to go to emergency and be treated there just to be able to Not go into shock basically. Then at the same time my eyelids were done so I was all swollen couldn’t hardly see my chest was in so much pain. These can work for some people, but I should never of had both procedures done at the same time! And not only that, but first implants were good for a while, they looked nice for about 10 years and I wish I wouldn’t had them because I could no longer sleep on my stomach. I have a had had and have issues sleep on my side and I’m just ready here to make a day and get them removed. I’ve had them in for 17 years now! Yep, the same saline implants! I’m older I’m tired of them I’m 63, my husband passed away from pancreatic cancer five years ago and I’m just I want them out. I’m tired of it. I just wanna go back where I don’t have to worry about anything and as far as surgeries go, I did have an another surgery few years later. I had a rhinoplasty. Which they did the so-called scoop method! After they said they don’t do that, but that was OK because it looks pretty good better than it did. No more surgeries for me no more no more I advise people don’t get more than one surgery at a time.👍
