I’ve had arm lipo from this very doctor (Justin Yovino) but unfortunately he didn’t take out enough. He kept insisting it was just loose skin, even though I kept getting remarks from multiple plastic surgeons that were surprised I had arm lipo done. I just got a revision in December 2022 to take out more fat and my arm looks way leaner now. (age 27 at the time, between 125-135lbs since my tweens). Hopefully he’s gained more experience between the time I saw him and present time to give ppl more satisfactory results. Not a bad doctor but much too conservative if you’re looking for significant results.
Just had my arm lipo done Saturday. Today is Monday. I'm doing good. Yes some pain and discomfort, but managing fine with the meds. I work from home and return tomorrow. Desk job. I'll be fine. I honestly barely remember the procedure. The premeds definitely made me relaxed. During the surgery, I had my eyes closed and did deep breathing the entire time. To calm my nerves and help with pain. It worked for both. Definitely recommend that. I'm going to wear my compression garment for the time recommended by my surgeon, 12 wks. Yes, it's summer. Yes, I'll be hot. But I want the best results I can get, so one missed summer will be worth it. ❤
I had arm lipo done along with arm tight and I am not good with pain so I decide to have it done at the same time with my facelift because during my facelift I was knocked out so I didn't feel anything, I figured this would be best and it was. I I'm now almost 5 weeks into the healing stage and I'm wearing the arm sleeves. May I suggest anybody past the age of 50 or even late 40s, get the arm tight done at the same time as the lipo because your skin will not snap back without arm tight and then you would have to go back in a second time to get arm tight done so just do it all at once.
I was awake for my arm liposuction yesterday. It was painful, but as someone who suffers with chronic pain, I’m no stranger to tolerating it. And the nurses had difficulty finding a strong vein in my leg that didn’t pop the needle out. So I was exhausted before the actual procedure had even started. 😅
How are you feeling now? I just had mine done on Tuesday and I am still sore, going back to work tomorrow. How is your bruising healing? I have a lot of bruising.
@@starzthelimit3563 I can’t see any noticeable bruising now, although it still hurts to massage. I had weird lumps by my armpits that took quite some time to go down.
@@PrismYuuzuki Glad you are doing well. That's all great to know.. Thank you!! Someone recommended a vibrating foam roller for massage once cleared for strenuous exercise, I bought one on Amazon for 50 some dollars but it's still too early to use, we'll see how it goes.
Thankfully I was sedated while they did mine, so I don’t remember a thing. But the first few days hurt a lot, especially the drainage massage the day after. I had it done on a Friday and went back to work Monday. It starts to get better after like the the 4th day but I really didn’t start to feel better until the 3rd week.
