Dude! First of, I just wanna say it's awesome that you wanted to try something different and welcome to dipping cars. BUT PLEASE GOD NO BODY LISTEN TO ANYTHING IN THIS VIDEO!! I encourage all to try plasti-dip BUT by doing it properly. This is absolutely worst case scenario... I'm only going to be providing constructive criticism so to you and your viewers can dip their cars properly and not damage them. 1) NEVER DIP A WHOLE CAR WITH CANS! - Plasti-dip is only peelable and durable if enough coats are applied. It takes 4 gallons ($220) of sprayable plasti dip to do a sedan/hatch. Equivalently you'd need about 56 cans ($383.60) of the rattle cans. That alone is enough to convince you to stay away from cans. But the finish is also Night and Day. It's not really even comparable. 2) It's best to prepare the surface by washing it will with car wash so that doesn't have wax, let it dry overnight, then wiping the car down with denatured alcohol before and after masking. 3) Back to the subject of not enough material, 16 cans is not nearly enough and you will realize this when you go to peel your car. It will come off in tiny pieces and it will be similar to trying to pick up wet toilet paper. BUT you're in luck, DipYourCar has a product called Dip Dissolver that is meant to liquefy thin plastidip and you just pressure wash it off. If anyone is seriously considering dipping their cars, PLEASE do your RESEARCH. There are tons of tutorials on DipYourCar's RU-vid channel from start to finish. Not to mention great customer services and sales all the time so you can dip your car relatively cheap.

In case of scratches it is different from the usual liquid paint and you can only act again on the damaged part of the piece with the spray can.
