Idk what y'all are on about , I find Mik's performance so entertaining! She gave a good amount of camp, those "idgaf" attitude moments were great and she interacted well with Plastique. Not every lip sync has to be a dance performance. Mik had really good expressions and the moves she did do were intentional, fit the song and were just fun to watch. Definitely Mik's best lip sync so far, and actually one of my all-time favorites now

Also, in All Stars they give the queens a varied type of songs to do, songs off the beaten path, to really make them show off their talent. This song was totally unexpected. They know the list of songs they will lipsynk to at the beginning of the season. They are all told what song they will lipsynk to the day before so that they could learn the words, come up with dance, etc. Why do you think Jimbo wore White Ghost costume for Freakazoid song? This is why I love AllStars: We would have never seen Gottmik do a campy comedy lipsync like this otherwise. Werq. She keeps suprising. Not only did she pick up a lot from Violet and fuse it with her own Drag, Gottmik is not afraid to go out of her comfort zone. She won by emoting. This song is not easy to perform well.

First, the camera had a difficult deciding on who to focus. They were confused. Personally, I think Gotmik earned the win. But it was tough to really follow their dancing cuz the camera POV was off. Loved Gotmik’s expressions, but she is not known for her dancing.

Camp isn't ONE thing, but exaggeration is a key component. GotMik's face MADE the lipsync. The clear reference to the lipsyncs in "Beetlejuice" made the interpretation & performance more specific. She correctly channeled the CONTRAST that defines the dark comedy sub-genre. Just because the song is upbeat doesn't mean the facial or labanotative components of the performance have to match it by being bubbly.

No, Plastique didn't do ENOUGH. She was completely vacant in the face just twirling around & resting on pretty. GotMik really channeled the dark comedy Beetlejuice film as a specific reference & delivered an energetic performance through her face which fit perfectly with her Scream dress.
