Great video. Plate carriers should be set up to fit the situation. Never saw an issue with running 6 mags up front in an urban environment, you’re not going to get in the prone most of the time. As for rural environments, I see the value of running a slick 3 mag front where you’re likely to drop in the prone. Take in all the information from helpful videos like this and evaluate whether it suits the needs of your mission. You won’t look cool if you’re dead. Stay dangerous dudes 🇺🇸.

Just subbed, you have one of the best planned out carrier setups out there. You put a lot of logical thought into your setup. I will be placing an order for some of the gear on your website, very simple well thought out options to make your carrier work better for you. I like how versitale your setup is, that is what I am aiming for. I like having the options of going slick but also being able to load up if need be.

You're totally right about the mission purpose dictating gear. I run a jpc w a ferro admin pouch and have the ability to throw my recce rig from onward concepts on top to plus up. I also run a hobosak, bfg small truama kit and crye double mag pouch on the ready rig to round out my combat load.

Good setup. The ability to plus up on mags is a big one to me. In the last few years I have three on my front then the rest I have to figure out. I’m more like grunt perspective since I am also a grunt too.

Awesome shake down. I wish more people did this. I’m debating the rear assault panel and I also have the mystery ranch 3DAP that I run with my PC. Good to know that even with the panel the pack will ride over it fine. It’s a huge debate and to me you never know what situations you will be in and who will be with you so worst case you take to PC off real quick and pull your essentials and move them in a pouch on the front of carrier. I’m sure something I said will be wrong but this is my thoughts

you can also just add back panel zippers to the rear of your 3DAP, so that the back panel can live on the pack rather than your back while you’re rucking.

Base your mag count on how far your going. I’ll use my rig for 3 different situations. 1-Home defense 2-Headed to get supplies 3-Having to evacuate In those situations you can figure the ammo count you’ll need. The longer away the more you’ll need. Whoever has the most ammo wins.

if a guys carrying tape for just in case, wrap the tape around your lighter (or other item\s) saves carrying a full roll or even just to have a bit as a backup

That was a custom thing we did in the shop. I'm not currently aware of a placard that offers that same functionality, but would love to know if there is one.

Is that the AXL SPC Tubes Adapter that you're using for your Cummerbund? I just got a JPC 2.0 and couldn't find anywhere what I needed for the male tube

It's one I sewed up in the shop. Same concept as their adapter I just angled the attachment points a bit to counteract any sag. Their adapters are solid and I believe a couple other companies sell them as well (which is why we don't offer them)

I'm wondering if Invisio V60 cable is compatible with older X50's. From I've seen X50 cable has spring mechanism to disengage, while V60 does not.

Not sure, we went from peltor PTTs to these. Knowing Invisio they're not compatible...they make a killing on proprietary cables

Solid setup. I've ran regular rubber bands for CATs for my entire career.....they do break....but solid PCI/PCCs catch those type of issues.

For sure - I've just had bad experiences with them and prefer EPDM ones or shock cord for durability. Either way, PCI/PCCs are a must, regardless of how robust kit is.

Small/Medium. It depends on the plate carrier and how you mount the male tubes attachment. This is on a Spiritus LV119 on a 6' 200# guy with plenty of room to adjust.

Why not route the cable for your rear mounted radio internally? There is a hole behind the placard release buckle and in the plate bags by the shoulder straps exactly for this purpose then just pop it out the cummerbund gap and into your radio.

I have no idea how many mags you need in a war zone. When I hit a dope trailer/house, I have 1 in the gun, 1 on my belt, and maybe 1 more on my plate carrier. If it's too tight for a long gun, I don't take any.

Sir, I see the video is about a year old so I’m late to the party but that tourniquet on the right side of the PC, with the white tab, looks to be a fake TQ. The left side looks real. Just get that checked if you’re still running it. I’d need a closer look to see if it’s real or not or just an older gen CAT, but still - check that out. Be safe.

Good call on the flag. There's usually a team patch there and just slapped one on for the video. Regarding bulk, that may be true for your needs, but it isn't for mine. This kit fits my needs, which including being in pretty small paces on ships and I've yet to have an issue with it being too bulky. I obviously wear a battle belt, which we'll go over in another video, but this kit fits my needs. I hope you found something useful in this video, if not, thanks for watching anyway. The goal of this is just to share some ideas with y'all.

That guy is a Conventional Grunt, meaning he isn't doing Martime and airborne or needs to two radios like he dose. If GP was recon that would be different. Kit is based on mission or job. You wouldn't want this set up for law enforcement or a law enforcement set up for doing military Raids

The only thing grunt perspective does that I don’t care about is a belt. We get forced to wear gas masks a lot so belts suck. That combined with a long IOTV makes it not work for belts. The rest is spot on
