GiAiLex is a food truck banging out killer plate lunches in Pearl City Industrial Park. You can find it somewhere across the Hawaii National Guard Armory. They open early for breakfast and also do lunch items. Street parking only, so come early to beat the lunch rush.

Thanks Misty for this video. I love these members-first videos. Gives us a chance to check it out before the crowds from your other subs start showing up... Went to Str'Eats of Aloha and U-Choice In and both were winnahs. My bro from Hilo picked up the manapua and other stuff yesterday, and he wants to go again tmrw! Lucky for me and my sister. Lol. This place looks like another place to try for sure. Dipping fries in the ranch is something I've been doing since going to Islands when I lived in CA.👍🏻

Happy Aloha Friday Misty! Wow those plate lunches definitely looked ono!! We added this to our list. Our mouths were watering just reading the menu and talk about great options and great pricing. Hefty portions too for sure. Excited to try them out soon. Aloha Michelle & Jose! Yes this food truck is up there in terms of quality, price and taste. I was pleasantly surprised. So many options I didn't know what to choose. Don't worry though the lechon kawali had no spice at all even though it had those chili flakes. And yes to eating in the car. Only if you know how to avoid crumbs and roaches. 🤣

Another place we're gonna have to check out. I've seen his van out here in Ewa. My wife wants to try the wings and those fries looked so crispy. Benefits to eating in your car: It's always where you are. No bugs. The food is always hot and fresh 😄😃

Yes the wings were so good and crispy! So we're the fries. Gotta eat em hot. After filming I went home which isn't that far away and they weren't crispy anymore. So yes to eating in the car as long as you're a neat eater so no crumbs and roaches.

Wow!!! At the 5:40 never seen fries look that good on screen and the Lechon looks good too🤙 I agree with the Adobo that I like it a little vinegary. And the Adnus patties looked thick and sense with all the mushrooms and cream. And thank you for telling us about the backstory to his trucks name. Right?! Those fries were amazing! The hamburger steak with those fresh mushrooms hit the spot. All of it was so good, but I had to up the week's cardio to not gain more weight LOL. Yes that was so good! It had the chili flakes but it wasn't spicy at all. His sauce is amazing for the lechon. Sometimes people make it too salty. But this one was perfect 👌

yes, when I went last week and saw the menu, it just says 'fried rice'. I was thinking wow, no upcharge so I took that..Only when I got home and opened the lid did I see that it was pork adobo!

@ThuanHoang-fd3dx Aloha Thuan! Yes not too bad for plate lunch. People complain but plate lunches were $2.80 in the early 80s. That equates to $15 today with inflation. So same thing. All the food was wonderful. 🤙

Aloha Misty. Lechon Kawali is one of my favorites. Enjoyed your Ala Moana walkthrough reminiscing about the "olden" days too. Hamburger steaks are always a toss up for me. It's usually all about the seasoning and one cannot gauge the taste unless eating it first. Love the members first viewing option as I always enjoy watching your videos. Oh Misty! Hui! You find the gem once again! Vinegar (different way)fries and chicken, YUM! And da lechon (crunchy skin)and chili peppa and onions...can't go wrong plus grape tomatoes! That gravy nice and dark! No fillers in the patty, please! Great foodtruck grinds hidden away in Pearl City!

Sorry kind of hard when you like eat. Filming a 15 to 20 minute clip takes 45 minutes. After so much b-roll of the same thing becomes repetative.

Yes. I used the Pocket 2 for the Vietnam and Massachusetts travels as well as some restaurants. This is the new 3. The other videos are filmed with a DJI Osmo Action 4 or Sony FX30. Depends how lazy I feel.
