Platinum 1 with Blue-Eyes Baronne Combo (When No Skill is Drained) | Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Season 4

3 Times Platinum 1 with 3 Versions of Blue-Eyes. This time, I went with Blue-Eyes combo build, which focuses on setting up board as strong as possible. With this build, I got several nice winstreaks of 5, 6, and 7 winstreaks once each on separate occasions. When climbing to Plat 1 from Plat 2, it got pretty turbulent , with 9 wins to 5 losses (Dragon Spirit of White somehow becomes magnet to starting hand in most of these losses). Still, I reached Plat 1 and went 13-7 in the last 20 games.

Timestamp and Decklist on the Descriptions. Tips to play this deck: 1. Always go first if you want to Rank-Up in Platinum (unless you use OTK decks like Numeron/Kaiju Luna) 2. Set up at least have 2 negations on opponent's turn if possible (like Baronne/No 38/Cyber Dragon Infinity and/or Impermanence/veiler/ash/called) 3. Beware of Nibiru (Strangely there are so many Nibiru now. There is the trick tho. On your 5th summon, when suddenly the opponent has response, it means it is Nibiru. If there is no response, you can continue summon no 38 for extra negate. Or you can just summon Cyber Dragon Infinity on the 5th summon if lucky having galaxy soldier in starting hand) 4. Like the tips of my other Blue-Eyes decks, You need to know when to negate, since you may have limited negations (which means you need to have enough practice and experience to know what to negate when playing ranked games) Like, Comment, and Subscribe if You Enjoy TLDR: I was deciding for quiet some time whether to use my usual music or Seto Kaiba DSOD Duel Link theme. Seto Kaiba theme fits better for Blue-Eyes videos and I hope that RU-vid doesn't copystrike the video that uses the theme of Duel Link/Anime Character theme, like some other RU-vidrs' videos. If this one is safe, I may use the theme of Duel Link/Anime Characters when making related videos in the future.

I forgot 1 thing. There are times when your opponent wanted to bait Baronne's negation effects, since it is once face-up on the field. Be wise to use it. You may want to negate using other cards first, or if your opponent activates continuous floodgates like gozen, you may want not negating it, since Baronne can destroy that card later (I won a duel this way against an Eldlich player, who scooped after apparently wanted to chain Skill Drain if I had negated his gozen's match)

Whats the purpose of effect veiler? Is it good to add chaos form + chaos max dragon to maximize the potential of abyss dragon

@@MiguelRivera-lp9tk effect veiler is a searchable hand trap (using sage), which can negate monster's effect. I believe the card is crucial if you want to play eyes of blue engine. If you dont have it, You can replace it with other handtraps or cards that help you summon halqi into baronne faster. Slightly weaker, but still fine. In addition to Abyss and Dragon Spirit of White, Chaos MAX + Chaos Form can be 2 potential bricks if you only one of them in your starting hand. Thus, I dont include them because I want to increase the deck's consistencies as much as I can, which is really important for Ranking up.

Seeing current diamond ladder where there are so many monster hate cards, like kaiju luna, maxx c, nibiru, VFD, etc, and so little backrow hate cards, like feather duster , it is better to use more traps than monsters imo. Besides, with heavenly prison, your traps can be protected, So, I suggest playing trap versions if you enjoy it. If you like combo decks instead, you may enjoy this version instead.

I have read that kind of joke and I think it's funny. If you want to find and win more with blue-eyes white dragon, you can check out my Blue-Eyes True Light control deck. Most of the time, you will win with blue-eyes on the board.

That Tenyi counter trap is really good, altho this deck doesn't really keep the vanilla Blue-Eyes on the field. Thus, I don't use that card in this deck.

@@chancegg00 Well, bricks and getting OTK in 1 or 2 turns happen from times to times, so I just move on to next game haha. To stop OTK or opponent's combo is important, that's why having handtraps are important. To rank up specifically, sometimes you need to turn 50 50 game into a favorable game. That's why clear and consistent strategy are important as well, so that you will have boss monsters more consistently. That's why you will see important cards are at 3, while some only at 2 or 1.

Why don't you use draglubion to summon number 38? So you would have 2 monsters up and still can use number 38s effect. Run 2 draglubions to go safe. Or do I think wrong?

That's a good idea, but my plan is using no 97 to comeback or OTK next turn with nebula. Running 2 draglubions is a no for me, because the extra deck is already tight as it is. Again, if you want to summon no 38 with no 97, it is actually a good move.

I got your deck, but can you explain this for me? I summoned formula synchro with a lvl8 dragon in the field, but it show me the error: “Missed the timing, you cannot use the effect of formula synchron”?

miss the timing text refers to formula synchron's effect to draw 1 card. You should still be able to accel synchro. If you want to draw cards with formula synchron, dont activate it on chain 2 or higher. Wait until opponent's card got sent to GY or negated, chain on, then use halqi effect to summon formula. This way, you can still draw 1 card with formula

@@nguyenchienthang5662 I activated Halqi's effect right after no 38 negates my opponent's spell card, not during the chain. If you chain on, you will be able to use halqi's effect, summon formula synchron, and draw a card.

maybe a small amount of those traps are fine. I think you can replace galaxy soldier, Maxx C, droplet, or impermanence with 1 or 2 true light + 1 or 2 skill drain. Keep in mind having too many strategies may affect consistency of the deck.

To whoever wants to use this, add raigeki or stuff to destroy monsters. Just had a 1hr nearly 20 turn war of attrition against a drytron with only deck out as winning condition coz i didnt place raigeki

@@justvince4158 yes, you can add cards that fit into your playstyle. I just use the deck in the video because it suits me best. After all, the video mostly highlights what combos the deck can do, so you can adjust it to suit your playstyle too.

Can u explain something in ur video? At 4:27 ur white stone of ancient can proc twice at end turn. How is that possible? I thought white stone of ancient only hard once per turn

White stone of ancient effect to summon blue-eyes is not once per turn. What is once per turn is the recycle effect.

Play 2 bewd instead of three, play 1 alternate instead of 2, play 2 Soldier instead of 3, play 1 levianeer and 2 more staple as substitute. You want to lower the brick chance as much as possible unless you play ultimate dragon build.

I respect your opinion, but this deck suits me best at the moment. Besides, I think my staples are enough for now and I don't have Levianeer either lol. If anything, this video serves as a basic idea of how combo Blue-Eyes can rank up to Platinum 1. If there are things you want to change in your deck, feel free to do so.

Yes, it can work. It can serve as engine to summon halqifibrax, and you can summon baronne without halqi given specific starting hand. But, if you want to replace galaxy soldier with nachster, you might need to replace cyber dragon nova and infinity with other cards.

Because Abyss can pull a level 8 during the end phase if a Blue Eyes is on the field or GY. So what they were doing was pulling Nebula to set up for the next turn when they could banish stone of ancients, put a blue eyes in hand, and use Nebula’s effect.

I didnt feel the need to add ritual/poly into this deck as it may reduce consistency/improve the deck's brickiness. If you want to add them, I think it's ok. But remember, those cards can brick you more than the deck already is.

I think, decks that can play skill drain and other floodgates have advantages in the ranked ladder, as many people just scoop if they get floodgated. Thus, True Light control is the strongest in my opinion. Currently, more decks running more monster hate cards than spell/trap hate cards, meaning True Light control can dodge more hate cards, as the deck's main strength is its spell and trap cards. However, skill drain and other floodgates like gozen/rivalry are not searchable, which means lower consistency compared to decks that can access extra decks, like my XYZ turbo and this one. Besides, True light control is prone to Feather duster, but not everyone has feather duster in their starting hand. You can combine combo decks and skill drain tho, but you need to be careful because if your monsters mainly has combo/negate effects on the field and not enough ATK, skill drain can be dangerous.

How do you summon nova for cyber dragon infinity? I had two galaxy soldiers on the field and it didn't let me summon nova :( ??

Using galaxy soldiers. Maybe you misplay nebula first before summoning infinity? Because nebula locks you into summoning only dragons after using its effect.

Always chain on if you want to draw using formula. Wait until opponent's card is resolved (eg feather duster sent to GY after destroying your backrow), then use halqi and summon formula. You will draw a card this way.

You can just focus on summoning Halqi into Baronne more consistently in your case, thus you can just run Return of dragon lords, trade-in, easy to summon tuners like tenyi level 1 tuner instead of galaxy soldier. For ED, you can just run other good XYZ/Synchro/Link monsters that you own.

Any idea to summon baronne without halq? Cuz i didnt find any other way. I tried playing it at plat 1 and it seems decent. And tbh i like it a lot. Since ive alr bored playing combo meta decks that need 5 mins to set up.

@@Hatege Yes, To replace cyber dragon XYZ, you can just run other good XYZ/Synchro/Link monsters that you own. Just think of Galaxy soldier as a link/xyz/synchro material for halqi is also fine. For baronne access, you can play jet synchron after summoning blue-eyes spirit dragon. So lv 1 jet + lv 9 blue-eyes synchro is baronne also.

It's better and more optimal in my opinion, since I can craft more UR cards due to Duel Pass (namely Effect veiler and droplet). Which means, I can have more negates ready, in addition to having access to Cyber Dragon Infinity.

I had no idea. I think, he didn't have any plays to make, so he just accepted defeat by summoning tragedy. I'm glad tho, because I got more Duel rewards due to 10k+ damage.
