I prefer the idea of the air intake tube coming Into the top of the mask as it makes for less restriction to air flow than those masks that have the intake tubes running down to the mouth area. It would also make it easier to have a longer or extended intake tube for people who snorkel slightly under the surface to still safely breath. Shame on the fogging issue but there must be en easy solution.

Oddly enough, I have a review of a mask with the tubes coming to the side of the face area. I'm keen to see how it works. And yeah the fogging was a little upsetting on this one.

they should really use a 5 point harness like you get on an SCBA in the fire dept. It will give a better seal and I think a better result and fit

There is definitely a fair amount of buoyancy, but it doesn't hinder the ability to dive under the surface too much.

I don't think you mentioned how easy breathing was once in the water? I had a mild panic attack in Maui, rather far from the shore. I literally thought I was going to suffocate, so I ripped off the mask and hastily backstroked back to the shore. After I realized that I was indeed not going to die I decided I was never going to try the full mask again, and banished them from my snorkeling repertoire. So, would you say breathing was any easier and less laborious opposed to the earlier designs?

You are correct Meeesa, I was too busy with the fog issue and I neglected to mention the breathing. To be fair on this mask the breathing issue was slightly better than what I would consider "standard" for these masks. Again, you have to make sure 100% you are comfortable breathing when out of the water before you ever go in with these masks. If you suffer from panic attacks I would recommend snorkelling in knee deep water until you have completely assured yourself. Sorry to hear this happened to you :(

Also, im having a lot of trouble with fogging and dont really know what to do só i can enjoy without the bad fogging. Does the method of burning with a lighter from the inside work for this masks? Yeah, very snug actually. Those straps are tighter like the manufacturer had suggested to me.
