"Ubi feruet charitas, ibi deus lucet, ibi gratia aemicat" --- "where love glows, there God shines, there Grace springs forth" [Marsilio Ficino, letter 39 book 2] If Diotima informs 'right opinion' with Love then Marsilio Fincino informs that with Love there are drawn the virtues of godly grace, and with Diotima the soul is reformed as with love of the good, the beautiful and the wise. But how cannot 'right opinion' become without contemplation of the bad, the ugly and the ignorant and without knowledge or the reaching of understanding of its forms?
