What types of filters are used? Is there any carbon for chemical removal or does it just remove bacteria and protozoa?

I've used this since its inception. It is absolutely the only way to go. I will never stand around pumping again. Makes no sense.

i got a question cause i can tellt hat the clean bag does notttt have a open click system so that you can also put liquid in from the other side... is it possible to buy this water filter system but instead of the clean bag use for example the normal platypus 3l water system so that 1 from the durty water system it can filter clean water in the platypus 3l bladder and 2 i could just use the normal platypus 3l water bladder just alone ass a water bladder to put sugar drinks in it or clean water from the kitchen ....

There are adapters to make the system fill directly into a reservoir.
