Platypus of Kangaroo Valley. 

I was down in Kangaroo Valley and met up with a great friend Michael Hayes who runs Kangaroo Valley Adventure Company. Mike took us on the search for some wild platypus that live in the Kangaroo River. Having Mike’s local knowledge and experience it was not long before we saw our first Platypus. I took along my DSLR with a 560mm lens and captured these cool critters going about their business.
Great seeing them up close and learning about these iconic Australian creatures.
