Play Halo Infinite with a playstation controller on PC??? (STEAM ONLY!)

I found the unthinkable when playing halo...
I'm sure alot of you pc players who have a playstation 4 console may want to know this! I'm not sure if it works on PS5 though but i'll test it out

UPDATE: So I tried this game on game pass on xbox through my PC and this process does not work. It'll only work for those playing the game through steam. No idea why but it's how it is.

you can use ds4 windows for pc so xbox can detect it as a xbox controller

No this fully works. look up how to use ps5 controller on steam, then try again.

Still does mate! I've been using it since release. They've not patched it.

It's not suppose to be a glitch. But as long as your controller has been configured with steam then your sorted mate

Just wanted to update you. It only works if you have it downloaded on steam. It doesn't work through xbox game pass on pc

ohh alright! so basically the DS4 works, but the game doesn't show the controls for it.

I don't know. Someone here said it did but Ive not tried it. Remember you have to use steam only and not xbox gamepass

Is there still no fix for game pass? I cant use halo on steam because it doesnt work so im forced to use the game pass.

I've got no clue mate. I don't think there's a fix for game pass because game pass is only compatible with xbox controllers whereas steam you can use ps4 and xbox 1 controllers

@@thescoutdan yea I talked to Microsoft support, the pc game pass doesn’t support controller for ANY games . It’s rlly unfortunate

It does. But you've gotta have steam for it to work. Doesn't work if you try it through xbox game pass. I have no idea why but if you try it through steam. It works trust me
