In this episode of Play It Forward, we interviewed Martha Pichey, an incredible New York-based playwright. 🌟
Martha has written for major publications like The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, and Vanity Fair, and has recently made her mark in the world of theater. Her first play, ASHES & INK, was produced in 2022 by women’s theater company Nora’s Playhouse, and is set for its off-Broadway debut in October 2024! 🎭
🔥 Ashes & Ink confronts the raw realities of addiction, exploring a mother’s fight to save her son. "It’s about all families torn apart by addiction and overdose," Pichey said. "I wanted to create a space to talk about our fears, our grief, and our hopes-so we don't have to feel so alone." ❤️‍🩹
