Going over the reasons and my thoughts for what I'm doing in hopes of helping some people push a higher rating. I recorded all this gameplay in casual so I can practice before pushing for Diamond. The ranking system isn't great ATM and therefore I believe that all things practiced in casual can be applied to ranked. Just remember to play your own game and only rely on yourself, good teammates are just a bonus.
Also, at 3:50 I said bullet trails no longer exist with a silencer. What I meant to say is the white arrow indication of where you're being shot from no longer exists.

Before you comment about this being casual, read the description. I realize my mistake for this video and from now on I will be playing ranked. However, all things taken into consideration, I still believe everything I said can be applied to ranked. On another note, if you're looking for just ranked gameplay check the most recent video(s). Having a good headset is key, with a good headset you can get a clue on where your enemy is by listening for their footsteps and if you think your enemy is in a corner or hiding behind a shield use your drone if you have one, if you have a drone throw it out and have a quick scan of the room to make sure it's save to go in and if there are enemy's pre fire them or just granade them, if you you don't have a drone then just slowly move into the room and watch out if there is any traps, when you see an enemy don't estate to pre fire them, sometimes you've got to be slow, co-ordinated and ready to fuck up some people. It's exactly the same for defenders but without that drone part, listening is a head up on where your enemy is. Hope this helped you!

Team ACG Even there you can learn somthing. You learn, where the enemy is watching and you could search for places to easily snipe them, because they do not expect you there. You also learn which windows and walls to look, before you rush. Denying the enemy to enter the building is something really important, because it steals time for your enemy to clear rooms, and make the roamers, more time to stress out the enemy.

+Team ACG I've learned to look for where I consistently get peeked from when I blindly rush the building. Sometimes I do it on purpose to draw out peekers for my teammates to take out, although a foolhardy decision and gimping my teammates with one less gun for the fight. Though because of this, I was able to counter-peek even players like Macie Jay. Definitely helps to learn where people peek from so you can pop 'em first!

RU-vid made me cry, literally. RU-vid pushed this video after 5 years since it was in my watch later and fvrt playlist, and watching this gameplay made me realise the good time I had at that time, and I am remembering all my online friends at that time and the number of hours I spent on this game. Though this is an educational video, it's making me sad. I miss those days. I miss that time.

I have nearly 1000 hours in that game and I'd bet only a handful were playing without my elementary school boys ): I hate how time changes things too man. i always wanted to play this but people who play it always told me not to bother because they didn't like it anymore but i took the plunge and started playing a couple of days ago and i'm glad i did. when i first started playing i was a total noob! had no idea what class did what and just kept dying and getting a load of salt on chat but i stuck it out and i'm glad i have because i'm really enjoying it and i have met some cool people who gave the noob a chance and gave me tips, anyway this video has shown me a lot of useful things to be aware of and how to think while in game. thanks man keep up the good work your'e keeping the community alive

Every time I get close to Plat I go up against a few obvious smurf groups and get deranked almost to silver. Garbage.

KiGrind 7 You can't be that good then.. If you are a guarenteed plat you will never drop to silver a high gold will be your absolute min... You are a mid gold player and what you are experiancing is an inconsistency with your "Form" going on losing streaks to get silver and going on a good form winning streak to get to the lower plat then not being able to produce so getting deranked to gold

Thing is, he can't carry the whole team. If the whole opposite team is made of people with his skill, and his teammates are carried or whatever, then he's gonna lose and get deranked. It's a tactical team shooter, and not a team deathmatch cod. Shit happens. And the ranking system is broke af.

farat542 Exactly. I'm usually on top or the only one trying to provide support. As Montagne for example it is difficult to make the top but if I'm the one making all of the pushes and have a dipshit team that doesnt understand how to work with that... it is pointless.

Loved this video. Your calm, insightful commentary while playing gives a very good window into your tactical mind and is a nice break from the lulz and showoff videos dominating the Siege youtube scene. I hope you make more like this. I also want to add that it's very interesting to watch your methodical pie-ing of rooms when the technique du jour is to quick peek all the time.

I'm literally just going to vocalize everything when I play from now on because just from watching you I can tell your thought process has a much more logical flow just because you know you're going to be saying something out loud. Seems like a very good way to keep yourself in check rather than just thinking internally. Cause you can give yourself a feedback loop as you think and speak. like "Wait that sounds really stupid right now" and you totally avoid making rush plays because of it.

Team ACG I came back to the game 2weeks ago since i took a break from January 2016 which is 1 month or so after the game released, spend 2-3 days on casual and it defo prepared me for high gold and with that i pushed into Plat. If you dont learn from casual its because your using it just to chill, But if you focus enough on learning a certain push or strat you will 1000% get better playing there because you will notice yourself stomping the casual players proving you are getting better at the thing your practicing.

I'm the guy normally lucky to get a single assist, but after watching this vid, I had multiple games or some great plays culminating in me getting a 3 price in the final round, the last kill being a 1v1. that's exactly what you have to do, be in the shoes of your enemies, constantly think: "what would those monkeys do now?" try to study their game style in the first two rounds. this will help you develop your game sense. all of this and good aiming and reflexes will give you an advantage over the enemy.

Make noise if you know there’s roamers. Usually if I’m hibanna I will use to 1-2 of my charges just to get in the building. I usually breach a window of a high traffic area. After I make that distraction. In the high traffic area. Then I will break a barrier from the side of a room or hallway and wait for people to draw there attention to the first window your breached!
