To save myself the time & work, I just take Dollar Tree mitts, turn them inside out and trace my grandson's hand on them. Then I cut them down about an inch or so wider and sew them back together again. He loves to bake with me and this insures him no burns. Cheap and easy....
I'm buying my grandson a play grill for his 2nd birthday in March. I was already planning to make him an apron, now he can have mitts too...thanks for the great gift idea
Great learning & reinforcement for little ones so NO BURNS when they are old enough to use the "real" stove & oven. You are a Grandma through & through! Thanks so very much.
My niece, age 4, loves to make cookies. I'm going to try to put thermal inside so she can help me take the kid sized cookie sheet out of the oven. Thank you for this...perfect as always. I bought the washable pens. Another great idea. No problem at all using them!
Hi love your tutorials I made a pair for my granddaughter and she loves her pink Mitts Im not sure how to add a pic to share with u I will use your awesome method to make me a pair as well thanks again
Why am I having so much trouble with this thumb area? I sewed around like the video says, but when I turn them right side out they are all jumbled up and won't lay flat. I've done them over and over again with the same result. This shouldn't be difficult, but I am obviously not doing something right.
I don’t find this one so easy. With the fabric piece you have are you yielding two mitts? Also do you see all the way around the. Zig zag? The thumb area is giving me trouble.
