As a person who's thrown from both center and right and left, lol, doing all I could to find things and finally settled on just off to the right, I can tell you that once you get the sighting right, as you're already used to the longer and shorter throws, things will fall into place quickly once you get the proper sight line in. Your confidence goes through the roof and your form actually adjusts once you see that *oh shit, that feels better* kick in. You pretty much feed on yourself.

Link to original video would be helpful for anyone that missed it. I do like the analogy to shooting. Anyone that shoots understands the idea of dominant eye sighting with irons and it sounds like we are talking about the same principle here.

I play darts quite a bit but feel my throw is quite inconsistent. It seems to travel through the air and land in the board differently all the time. When I try and add a nice follow through the dart drags to the right

Sooo if I understanded correctly. This sight right is needed when you whant to get straight line of throwing and dont want to play from the center of the oche?

I sometimes have a flick to the left of the dart board is there any way to fix that problem

MvG actually stands just slightly off to the right of the bull (i noticed this on the PDC euro tour events when the PDC had a live streaming cam behind the players looking forward as they were warming up), so his right arm in a straight line would point at the treble 18/treble 6, So when hes throwing at the right hand doubles his body doesn't have to twist right.

What effect would a left dominant eye for a right handed thrower have? Would this sight alignment technique work in that situation?

yeah it does help, but I'm still not throwing my darts perfectly it's either 2 in 1 place or a horizontal or a straight line on the board. Is it the way my hands holding the dart or is because when I throw the dart my hands are off?

I would have liked to have seen the position of the feet, of his and the board. Could be better demonstrated

This works well with level sighted people. No good for those, who like me, throw with the opposite arm to the eye they see from. A line down the middle is no good for me. It's about sense of direction when I throw a dart

Novice Mistake: just because you landed over 1.4 million viewers during the first video, it doesn't mean you need a Part 2 or that we want a Part 2 or that you'll get over 1.4 mil AGAIN. The player's honesty was genuine and we, the viewers, like HONESTY and we root for the player and his newfound knowledge from the coach. AND ALL WILL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER!
