these scammers are impossible ! as a seller everytime i upload a new item i get a msg from these scammers posing as etsy staff and saying that i made my frist sale but my account is still locked because it is new (i just open my store about 2.5 weeks) and they need to unlock it so i can continue and allow the transaction to go through. Recently , i started running etsy ads and i got people msging me in the etsy chat selling me how to succeed in etsy courses.. oh gosh this needs to stop! :( it has come to a point where when I see a notification of a chat coming in i would automatically 1st assume it is one of those scammers..

Ads please! Really enjoy your live sessions, thank you. Quick question - i run ads on a couple of listings - my bestselling ones. A couple of them are not high selling anymore (after a couple of months) i assume because of fluctuating demands for this products. Should i just turn of the for the listings that do not have the same high demand they used to? Will i completely loose the ranking on the etsy platform (page 1) that was achieved through the Ads?

I’ve used ads for 3 years on my full time shop - and using it now on my new shop, but it’s growing veeeeerrryyy slowly hehe mot getting a ton of views. Maybe around 60-90 a day on 9 listings. But like 3 or so of them being in the most views.

I loved this video! I noticed when I tried to turn keywords as "not relevant" it told me this was a test. So while I've been doing it, I wasn't sure it was actually doing anything. But I'm assuming by this video that is in fact something they're paying attention to now?

I don't seem to get data with my ad spend. I get a reasonable ROAS. I get views and clicks (I know this is data), but I never seem to get keywords that led to my ads. Does this mean that people aren't searching with a keyword, but are using filters instead? My ads have been on for quite a few months.

Great question! Etsy Ads don’t always provide specific keyword data, so it’s possible people are using a mix of keywords, filters, and browsing categories to find your listings. This doesn’t mean they aren’t searching with keywords, it’s just that Etsy doesn’t show those details like Google Ads does. To make the most of it, continue optimizing your listings with strong keywords to boost both your organic reach and ad performance. You’re getting good views and ROAS, so you’re on the right track! Keep tweaking your keywords and ads, and you’ll find what works best.

do you still get sales to Europe for your physical products? for the last 2 weeks, I am only getting sales in Europe , mainly France which is my country, which is weird as 70% of my sales were in the US. They may have changed something in their algorithm.

Love the content. But the length of video to get to the point is just wild. They should be 5 to 10 minutes and then increase the number of over all videos.Not sure why 2 hours is required based on the topic. Way too much filler. General feedback
