This is @ Sadhguru Enlightment day - 2023.. night about 11:30, after it had rained heavily in ISHA Yoga center. I was there in that auditorium.. Imagine sitting here in this auditorium with your eyes closed listening to them, with gratitude in your heart in presence of Sadhguru. The experience was out of the world..
One of the best classical duet I have ever heard. The depth and grace of singing of both singers, their mutual apprecition and encouragement is simply astounding. Divine grace flows while hearing this mind blowing performance. God bless them.
Sorry, don't say only Bengalese & South Indians, there are several artist s from various regions of India, ie Goa, Maharashtra,Banarus atall@@anjanabanerjee1452
Such a marvellous jugalbandi. Uttaradi and Dakshinadi legends singing with such synchronisation. Mutual admiration and melody just superb. I don’t know the raga and tala. I would be highly thankful if someone can mention raga & tala. I really listened many times.
I believe it is Hamsadhwani. In fact , the female vocalist Kaushiki Chakraborty's father, Pt. Ajoy Chakraborthy also takes this ragam to stratospheric heights as well, in his renditions. There's a Vathapi Ganapathim (in Hamswadhwani) blissfully rendered by him (available on RU-vid) which is among the very best I've enjoyed by any musician - Carnatic or Hindusthani.
where politicians divide this country our music binds us together... master of karnatic vocals bowing to the best of hindustani classical vocalist & she in return bowing to him .. both appreciating each other.. both complimenting each other... without even a hint of ego ... this is my country .. This is my BHARAT.. last but not the least the musicians.. sashtaang pranaam to everyone on that stage.. Jai Hind ... Bharat maata ki Jai..
Brilliant... Thank you for such a wonderful performance 🙏 I see two children enjoying themselves...that's my take away. When you truly enjoy from the bottom of your heart, the activities/work done are no longer merely "professional tasks"...you become them and the work becomes you... The outcome is nothing but Divinity manifesting itself 🙏
Mind blowing performance and it was a treat to watch all the musicians playing and enjoying the singing....I would like to tell the girl in red saree sitting behind Smt.Kaushiki, you look beautiful and a little smile and involvement from you would have made this video to next level...Don't hold yourself my child. Let go off all the judgements...
Great Music❤ The language barriers I have seen only in Tamil and Hindi people (not all but those who cannot accept other languages are among these two only). When we go to Tamilnadu, those who can speak other languages also won't speak it and compel others to speak in Tamil and some people ask பழமையான மொழியான தமிழ் பேசுங்க (speak in Tamil the oldest language . Some Hindi people want everyone to speak Hindi accross the country and demand हिन्दी में बोलो (speak in Hindi). No other language people has this bias. If you go to Kerala, they love to speak in your language and bring some Malaayalee who knows your language. Similar is in all other Non-Hindi & Non-Tamil regions. Take it for positive response
But Tamil toughness is a reaction to the North Indian fanaticism. North Indians in Tamil Nadu should speak Tamil the state language. But their reaction is Why is no one speaking Hindi? Everyone should speak Hindi. This arrogant demand then gets an equal response from Tamils who say - Atleast in our state speak our language. Don't you see how *demanding* Hindi in non-Hindi states is so arrogant. Similarly when Tamils travel to HIndi states, they should not demand that local population to speak Tamil.
