If Jarace Walker doesn’t even get minutes post all star break I’m hoping he does get traded. Rick Carlisle is the only human being on this planet that knows why Doug McDermott is getting minutes instead of Jarace. The dudes strengths are literally every aspect of the game the team lacks in. Doug McDermott is an even worse version of Buddy Hield than Buddy Hield is.

The problem with Mathurin is that he's not yet a fit with either Myles or Hali. Both sets have a negative net plus minus. He does very well with Pascal, but then everybody does. Ben is essentially an iso scorer. Doesn't pass well to Myles, and does not finish assists from Ty. Best still as primary bench scorer. Maybe another summer and training camp can turn that around. I expect he'll get a confidence pump coming out of the all=star break, but still, I wont expect great things from him or Jarace until next season.

Anything less than a playoff series is a failure. Play in loss or missing altogether is unacceptable. Jalen is a solid backup we need to keep around. We still need to upgrade at the starting center spot and Nembhard is not a starting caliber player, he's getting alot of roses for dandelion appeal. Tyrese, Siakam, Nesmith and Smith are my 4 to keep. Rest got to improve or get packing. If we don't improve our rebounding and defense but years end, itll be clear that Carlisle needs to be replaced too.

We have had two top 7 picks since 1990, essentially the Pacers FO would rather invest money into Obi Toppin so he can get paid than into our 7th pick on a rookie deal. Can anyone name one good player that wasn’t hurt that was benched their entire rookie season? It’s tough bcuz that experience in the nba makes guys way better, G League is sub par to even euro league.

We've seen what Jarrus can do in the G league. 46% from the field with 3 turnovers a game. He's not seeing actual minutes until we secure the playoffs

This is ridiculous. Ben Mathurin is clearly the future 2 guard. Sheppard will be great off the bench but his ceiling is at best a 3 and D player which is always valuable. People are pretty dumb when it comes to mathurin. Hes basically improved in every area of the game this year

Easy schedule seems to work for Pacers, except we’ve struggled against mediocre teams all year. Amazing the impatient responses on here for Mathurin and Walker, one would be a senior and the other a sophomore in college. Just take a look at Siakam, absolutely did nothing his first two years, then turned 24 and got a chance. Mathurin is 3 years away from turning 24, Jarvis four, pump the brakes. Sheppard and Nembhard are both guys coming off first from the bench in the future, Nesmith is simply a year or two away from dominating at the 3, and no, we don’t need pg, give me a break…

Our PG sickness has to stop. It’s over I know it hurts. I always get the vibe he couldn’t get out of Indiana fast enough and doesn’t seem to deny that. He’s where he wants to be and to trade the farm for an aged PG even though he still seems decent. Leaving LA and a team with 4 Hall of Famers to come back to Indy and compete against a stacked eastern conference just seems insane. Get well soon pacer nation 💔

Think if you are really wanting to see a lot more Jerace Walker in the second half of the season you are going to be very disappointed. I don't see Jerace getting anything more then garbage time minutes tbh, Rick has even mentioned in an interview that Jerace needs to view the Mad Ants as "his" team and lead them. From that I am gathering Rick and the coaching staff thinks Jerace isn't mentally mature enough and want to see it with him leading the Mad Ants.
