Every episode of this was a masterpiece and I don't know y it is not so famous as squid game cause this drama is what we call a suspense, thriller drama. Salute to Lee seung gi for acting awesomely in this masterpiece 💜💜💜💜
There was no other way to end Ba ruem's character. Even though he was no longer that soulless monster, his painful and sad ending was justifiable. If there's a possibility of a 2nd season, I would love to see him as the prime predator who eliminates other predators while being torn between his desire to kill and his desire to live like a normal person.
It wasn't Ba-raum's fault that he was born that way. He wanted to live like a normal person too! The ending took all my tears away. I feel so bad for him. He didn't deserve such a life, he didn't deserve to die like this! I am still crying for him. My heart hasn't recovered yet from the last episode 😭
I was never in love with a fictional murderer unless I saw this masterpiece of a drama. Mad props to the writer who came up with this storyline and the whole cast especially both the characters Jung Ba Reum and Detective Go Mu Chi.
Lee seunggi is gonna hold a special place in my heart for making me go through the suffering and also the joy of him loving one. I have never been in Aw of someone on this level. His acting gave me goosebumps in every episode. Every episode was a rollercoaster. I had wait 1 year just so I could prepare myself to watch through it as I could feel it was a watch to have that one can never erase from it's memories.

Such a masterpiece every episodes were just thrilling and amazing never watched something this amazing......at last I cried so much how he ended at last..
I see many people defending or sympathizing with the antagonist. Just imagine being someone who's close to one of his victims. The fact that your loved one was not only killed but was made to suffer in utter pain until their last breathe will leave you traumatized for life. Just because the story's been said from the psychopath's pov doesn't mean what he did is excusable. I don't care if he was born that way, he found the most innocent victims to kill making their life as well as their loved ones life miserable.
This is just a story. The empathy people feel for the character shows how complex and well written it was and as an audience, we are conflicted with the empathy we feel. We know the punishment at the end is what he deserves but at the same time we can recognise how tragic his own life was as well. Many external forces played with all of their lives like pieces on a chessboard and the reality is in the end they won. Bareum could have had a relatively normal life if given the chance but he wasn't- that possibility was always there. In the end the Bareum who was punished wasn't the same man who committed the crime, hence why it feels wrong as well. Bareum was punished for sure, but the bigger evil won in the end.

This tv show IS masterpiece.But directors misunderstanding so call psychopath gene and psychopath behavior ( psychopaths are violent but not emotionless) . And this gene ( i guess maoa)is in DNA all sort of aggresive people and some kind of people with depression. so its not psychopath gene but gene of aggresivity. Sun gi show great acting skills but i am impressed by this kid version of Jeong Ba reum..
not all psychopaths are violent😭 they do not experience emotions as how normally others do which leads them to not get our values so they dont see any wrong in anything violent they do. because again they experience emotions way lesser and differently than we do. also most psychopaths are great at mimicking human emotions and expressions so thats that

It's the spin off. basically spin off episodes about how he killed Inspector Ko's brother and many other victims and how still manged to hide in that good boy face.
