2007 was Wayne's peak year. He was the biggest artist in the WORLD. Everything he touched was platinum. Number 1 album, EVERYONE wanted him on their song. There was a point where Wayne was on the radio 8 out of 10 songs on the rotation. His Drought 3 mixtape the year before sold more than everyone else's albums. No hip hop artist had ever dominated like that before or after.
@@jaquaveonandress649 yeah I would say 07-08. 2008 is when the Carter 3 came out but by 2007 Wayne was recognized as the best in the game. 07 is when he dropped a mixtape every 2 weeks and when he dropped the drought 3 that was the best music he ever recorded. Upgrade you, zoom, top back ect. All those songs were on the drought 3. EVERYONE was listening to that mixtape.
