It’s easy to understand cargo. His music is based entirely off of the beats his producers make, them making 90% of the song. The beats often have heavy repeating 808’s accompanied with repeating melodies often at a much higher pitch to compliment the 808’s. Carti simply comes in by using repeating adlibs and slurry vocals to imitate the drug fuelled/drunk niggas in the mosh pit, whom the music is directed towards. All he did was find a target audience and make himself unique using Cartinese to bring attention.
@@benjenkins3220 Carti's flow and use of ad-libs is completely altering for Hip-Hop and moves it to an extreme. Plus this dude has an amazing ear for beats and where to put his vocals to bring the best out of them. He is very particular about his output.

Too funny, but one thing I've noticed is when there are a lot of ad libs, the actual artist does the ad libs while the do or hype man actually raps that part, i noticed that a few times in this video too

Being a carti fan before he blew up fr makes me so proud watching this. Carti and so many other "SoundCloud artists" have made it big and it truly inspires me to continue my producing/rapping career. With enough hard work I feel like I can make it too, just like they did.
