The replay value of Carti’s music is insane. That’s the thing with Carti’s tapes - first listen it sounds so strange but then it grows on you and you become obsessed with it.
@@hyoonoot bro I’ve listened to it like 30 times 😂 though while it was good for a min it’s starting to get a lil old (which ig happens when you listen to the same album 30 times) I’m ready for the deluxe
Wlr is litterally the only album ever I have played all the 24 song in a row more than like 5 times generally and I listen to the songs alsomst everyday. The replay value is really something else.
*The fact that he has the balls to pull this off almost makes the songs that much harder, he could’ve went safe and done the same old carti over a Pierre beat but he’s setting new boundaries and exploring new territory, you gotta respect it*
i feel like this was worth the wait. All new songs. Whole new sound. introspective lyrics if you're listening. Next gen instrumentals. Yup, a Carti album.
Talking about your personal life on a song isn't introspection? Not saying he's a lyrical genius or anything but he did put some of his laundry out on this album
@@lmao9526 ima be completely honest. If Tupac didn’t die know one would listen to his music and call him fire they don’t like the music but they like the esthetic of him.
@@Xo.064 do you know the definition of hate and an opinion? You can try to make this sorry excuse of a song seem artistic all you want but it’s garbage and will not grow on me any time soon how many times is he gonna say never too much?
@@anahik6630 Bro you do understand this is music right? Your inflated ego is convincing yourself that your opinion has an objective stance vs. subjective. It is not fact, the only fact is that YOU and others personally dislike it. But how is that relevant to the population who don't think it's as bad? Imagine you came up to someone who eats beans and rice every single day, and you told them "Ew rice and beans are disgusting." Clearly that's just your opinion, and completely contrasts with the person who is eating the beans and rice every day. With that being said, I am also a bit disappointed with some aspects of the album, but I'm not gonna say it's trash. That's like me listening to a Metallica song, not liking it, and saying it's trash.
@@Xo.064 ehhh i see what you trying to say but at the same time you can tell carti didnt really try in this album, it’s really monotonous and sounds lazy asf execpt for the beats so i could understand why people say it’s trash
I already know everyone gonna come in under this comment hatin on pump asif we wasnt all bumpin him in middle school boss nd d rose went hard back then n no1 can deny it
Carti switched it up bruh niggas wanted 20 pierre songs💀 like you gotta figure pierre produced over 50% percent of die lit, pretty much every song. I fw artists who are experimental, this definitely grew on my. I listen to this every day at least 2 times.
@@supwock The only songs I really dont like are No sleep, go2damoon, jumpouthehouse, metamorphosis, and Teen X. Everything else is at least alright I guess
As someone who didn't really pay attention to Carti up until WLR (outside of magnolia because who hasn't heard it), I have to say I really rock with this album. I feel sorry for the people who are mad that WLR wasn't a Die Lit 2 with baby voice Carti. I mean shoo, Die Lit is an amazing project that should never be duplicated. That vibe that DL gave us was meant to be remembered as Carti being at his peak and him feeling as if he could "Die Lit". WLR is him decending into the depths and coming out as the king of the Vamps. Whatever WLR was intended to be died when people kept leaking the original project. What we got was Carti basically saying, "Fuck it we ball" and opening up about some things that have been going on. I'm so so glad I gave WLR a chance because I love it now.
Yk how when rappers before they start there career they like freestyle and practice and stuff.Tbh I feel like carti just skipped that part and went straight to h to e rap game and started developing every album he makes. That’s how I feel about him tbh.Every album he gets better.
