Your channel introduced me to the Neptunia games, I’m currently playing Neptunia game maker and I also grabbed sisters vs sisters which I absolutely love. Love your videos 😊
You have to keep going with Sand Land. One of the best games I’ve played in a while. And it’s way bigger than what you think. I was hooked. First game I’ve ever done all the side missions. 78 of them.
@@ProjectGameVault it took me forever to figure out. I was so frustrated. I don’t remember without looking at it but a little north of the area, there is a spot that you have to climb down into the old riverbed to keep going south. Try to zoom into the map as far as you can. North of the mission area, follow the river bed and to the west (left side of the river bed), there is some kind of checkpoint or gate or army base. You are going to climb down on the right side of the river bed. I hope this helps some.
@@ProjectGameVault another note, the area you climb down from is slightly south of a visible bridge. You can’t take the bridge but if you are on the bridge, you can see rock formations that kinda make a staircase sorta. You will know what I’m talking about. Just know you can’t jump off the bridge and make it easy, it’s kinda annoying.
I actually have around 200 hours into Endless Ocean Luminous. You're right that it's not a game most people would enjoy. That said, I loved both of the earlier games in the Endless Ocean series, and I'm enjoying this one as well. The story is crap, but I don't play this series for the story anyway. People who want a deep story, a large variety of tasks to do, or the occasional adrenaline surge won't find those in this game. Those who want a relaxing game where you can swim around, scan and learn about fish, collect treasure, and take some pretty decent pics to fill out the in-game album can get their money's worth (especially if they wait for a sale). Basically, Luminous makes a great "winding down before bed" or "playing while you listen to an audiobook/podcast" game. As a collectathon there's a decent amount to do, although the pricing of cosmetics needs some tweaking as it would take over 600 hours of grinding in order to afford everything at the current price. Ignoring that, Luminous is not for everyone, but some of us are having fun.
@@douglasbriel6103 I mean, it *could* be used that way, although it's not the most accurate in terms of which biomes various species spawn in, and it only includes a brief paragraph of info about each one. I'll admit I've gone down a few rabbit holes online looking up more info about a species that looked particularly interesting. But I don't know anyone that plays Luminous primarily to learn about fish. Out of the nearly 200 hours of playtime I've put into it so far, I've spent far less than an hour learning anything in-game, nor have I heard from anyone else spending most of their time learning from it. So I don't really think "educational tool" is a good description of Luminous, based on anything I've either heard or experienced myself within the game. There are other diving games that were clearly developed more as educational tools, or as an entertaining way to send an environmental message ("Beyond Blue" comes to mind). This isn't one of them. Like it or not, Luminous is first and foremost a game. It may not be your type of game - or even the type of game most people would have fun with - but that can be said about plenty of "cozy" games. The people who play Luminous do so to primarily to have fun, and if that's not a game I don't know what is.
@@douglasbriel6103 The second game in the series had a lot more variety in content, includng the things you mentioned. That said, adding aggressive creatures was pretty divisive amongst already existing Endless Ocean fans, as it didn't really fit with the overall relaxing vibe of the series. A lot of fans - myself included - didn't enjoy having our relaxing dives interrupted by aggressive creatures, but at the same time, adding them to the game expanded the player base by bringing in a slightly different target audience. I think the best solution would be for future Endlesss Ocean games to include aggressive creatures, but add a way to toggle damage off for those of us who just want to chill. Another game on Switch, titled "Deep Diving Adventures," does just that, and it works out really well. Of course, the other stuff should be included too (gear with different stats, the ability to go above water to see animals like penguins, a more developed story, etc). The second game had a pretty cool hub area, and a dolphin training aspect that, while somewhat gimmicky, was kind of fun. I'd like to see that stuff brought back as well. Oh, and a customizable aquarium. I'd love that. Luminous seems to have sold relatively well, so here's hoping a message has been sent that an audience still exists for this series, and a more fleshed out sequel would be more than worth the cost of production.
"life bubble" looks to be heavily inspired by "my little universe" 🙌 I would definitely recommend checking out the original if you're looking for a time sink.
Agreed. I've tried both (on Switch), and My Little Universe is far better. There are loads of spinoffs out there, but so far none of them have even half the content or depth of MLU. It's a great "chill out and listen to a podcast/audiobook" game.
Sandland is one of my most anticipated games and I can’t wait to play it!! So much to do and explore and I’m such a fan of the Dragon Quest games! I just need to be prepared to devote the time my obsession will take me! Haha Neptunia is a series I want to dive into because of your recommendations and will soon for sure! They seem fun! And Life Bubble is one I saw and was totally intrigued. I enjoy games like that! Just mindless progression, collecting and fun! I will totally be trying that one! Thanks 😊
I'm absolutely loving Sandland so far! It really opens up the more ya play, so I hope you're able to give it more time and end up enjoying it a lot more in the future 😄
For Endless Ocean you would need danger from sharks, and changing oxygen tanks, and depth concerns. But as is, it's just an educational tool. I still want to get Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters.
There is something in Final Fantasy 8 that I like very much. Funny thing I started playing it summer and then continued next summer. Finally I reached almost the end part, but I noticed that I was almost out of healing items.
Sandland looks decent. Looks very DragonQuesty but not… I tried to connect with the Neptunia Series but sad to say I cannot . I’ll say this tho I never thought I’d ever buy or play the Ryza trilogy but your videos convinced me to give it a try and I’m glad I did. Enjoying Ryza 1 and haven’t played 2 and 3 because people (you included) told me playing them in order will make 3 hit me in the feelz 😂 Great video. As always thank you sincerely. Your work brings a smile to my face.
Endless ocean early versions were good for educational and a little fun.. quite happy they createdanother one, with multiplayer now. the game quality could have been a little more realistic maybe.. End of the day its a time killer if someones wanting that.
It's not new since it is a few years ago, but I played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX. Princess Peach Showtime was a fun game. I'm not sure if anyone would think the same as me. Now I just bought Coromon from Limited Run Games and Cassette Beasts from Super Rare Games, just now have to wait to arrive. I have been getting more into other monster taming games. Monster Sanctuary was the last game I got, which I loved.
Cool games,I still want to play Sandland. Lately I have been playing Banishers Ghosts of New Eden,Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Remake,Eiyuden Chronicle and Fuga Melodies of Steel.
I’ve been playing the two Hellblade games, they are both amazing! Especially as I’m struggling with mental health myself currently.. :) Edit: I searched this myself once, and I think both fish and fishes is accurate 😂
I recently beat Astria Ascending (the Nintendo Switch version) and yeah, I like it. I also beat Sand Land many days ago, and I recommend it, even the PS4 version is great, I played the game on PS4 and that version also looks great and has, for the most part, good performance. I've been playing Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution on Nintendo Switch these last few days, maybe I'll beat the game tomorrow or next week at the latest, I already finished several chapters, so, I'm getting close to the end of the game. And yeah, as somone who already beat Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters for Nintendo Switch, I can say for sure that the Nintendo Switch version is great.
Recently i’ve been going through my backlog and finished hogwarts legacy on switch before the update, and finished a short hike within 1 hour, its a really good game honestly. And now I’m trying to finish night in the woods before smtvv release.
I have just finished bioshock 2 on the switch. It played and looked great and was first time i played. I have it on my ps5 but was nice to play in handheld. Also playing, but am very stuck on the such a silly part, the prince of Persia - cannot get past number 3 of the sacred archives jumping puzzles. I can see what to do and I know i ought to be able to do it but it has been a month now and its almost becoming a mental block now too. I wish i knew someone who could do that for me! I have gone to other sections with harder bits and no problem. Urgh!!!!
I have a question! What is the ratio between cutscenes / dialogue vs actual gameplay in Neptunia game maker and Neptunia sisters vs sisters? These two games caught my attention but tbh i never played any Neptunia game and i heard that there are a lot of dialogues? I can get Switch physical Day One special dualpack for dirty cheap (around 65$ ! 😮) but i don't want to spend most of the time watching dialogues, so please answer ASAP, ty! 😊
So is this a good game to start with the Neptunia series on Nintendo switch? I meant to play it on the ps vita but sadly my system died. I’m hoping for the day we will get a true successor to the vita.
Recent neptunia games looks kinda fun to play! I think they kinda failed on the turn based formula. But i enjoyed 4 godesses online so much! I should give one of these 2 a chance! I wish Ocean luminous was a free to play game... No way i'll spend that much on it for sure. I know i'd play a dive or 2 then quit for a time.. rince and repeat.... Can't wait the next video! Very curious about the ps5 game (already forgot the name). I'm afraid paper mario is super easy like mario rpg so i'll pass.
I wish to participate in your plushy, but u haven't a credit card . The bank that managed my payments has gone bankrupt years ago . Good luck with the next found raising
I thought the rule was "fishes" when it is multiple species of fish, but "fish" if it is one species but multiple fish. Some dictionaries seem to say you can use either though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Toryama is not the "guy". He *IS* the guy. The guy who created Dragon Ball and designed little things like Dragon Quest and Chrono trigger. Please put some respect.
