0:30 before, maxed out brawlers had 40% better stats than power 1, and a star power. now, maxed out brawlers have 100% (2x) better stats than power 1, a star power, a gadget, two gears, and eventually an hypercharge. So it's way, way harder to win as a power 1 team now, compared to before.
yeah but.. isnt that the point? youre supposed to level up your brawlers to give them more power. otherwise, its near useless to level up a brawler if you can play and win just the same. thats how it works
@@Marx_the_Jester Not impossible, like Nubbz and Kairos said, you really have to be good in the game to win with a lvl 1 team against max out players although I don’t see the problem in this since it means that there’s a better reason to level up your brawlers. You will lose a lot if you try to beat a maxed out team with a lvl 1 team, on the other hand, it would be brag worthy and satisfying to pull off.
@@crane_wives well yes, but now you can struggle a lot even in Rank 15 matches with low level brawlers. The game wants you to slowly upgrade new brawlers, but people just max them out before using them, making level 1 brawlers impossible to play against level 11 brawlers
They should really do a 100.000 coins event! Now hear me out, it might not sound as exciting as 100 Starr Drops but the progression would go SO CRAZY! The general idea would be like a random goal (idk what exactly) and the milestones could go like: 1-- More coins from Starr Drops (and not like a higher drop rate but more like just some additional coins added on the current drop rate so it doesn't make Starr Drops useless for any other reward) 2-- 1000 coins 3-- 5000 coins 4-- 10000 coins (now this many coins might seem too crazy added with the 100.000 we would get at the end but I don't really think that it would even get you _too far_ through the progression since they are mostly there for u to use them on gadgets, star powers, gears and hypercharges) 5-- 100.000 coins, obviously as the final goal Now this could bring up a point of a "power point shortage" (which feels weird to even say), but as I said, I am SURE that people have so many brawlers lying around waiting to get those 2 gears, 1 star power, 1 gadget and 1 hypercharge for *5000 COINS* and there are also some brawlers that need two of the powers to play good! (For example Kit with his star powers having 0 versatility) Similarly, people sometimes just want to try other powers on their brawlers but don't wanna waste all of their coins (for example, me personally, I love playing RT, he is my favirite brawler and ever since his gadget has been reworked I want to use it to bully Kits even tho I think "hacks" is better. And also if you are playing a bushy map you might want to play with the bush speed gear or even vision gear!) So I think that all we need to get progression back on the line, at least until a long term solution, is just a _little_ push in the coins shortage situation.
@@metalll1472 Ok you at least are reasonable, one guy said that 10k is enough and considering how many coins u need for maxing out a single brawler it should at least be 50k
@@mihajlopetrovic7605 50k is 3 maxed out brawlers including the hc. most hc's arent even worth buying and without them its abt 10k per brawler. u really think they'll let you max 5 brawlers out just like that when you're meant to only max about 1-2 every month?
so true, the entire event is useless for f2p players (like me) cuz you can only get like 4 free boxes and the chance of anything good is so low cuz the chance of the classic skins which are like 10 is pretty high
The concept of drum roll isn't bad, but the execution is imo with showdown maps being too big for the mode, the brawler selection, especially the first iteration, is horrible, also kill stealing is really annoying and healing up to full after a kill just shouldn't be a thing.
@@potatoman7028 starting with a high skill brawler like colt and ending it with a very easy one like frank, putting dynamike right after mortis which is a hard counter, putting poco in the selection at all with his terrible stats, on top of giving him the healing star power which is literally useless in a solo mode, those are all objectively bad decisions and for many people the mode is very much garbage, kill stealing is unavoidable but it still adds to the negative impression of the mode.
0:30 my autistic ahh always kept brawlers below P7 because when i got 6 from a mega box i knew i was gonna get a brawler
0:53 it's possible? Then DO IT! Win with whole lvl1 team against maxed out team, OR start a match with lvl1 and win it with starplayer. Ofc trophy should be atleast 750 if you can't handle it then u can go above 600. DO IT!
He could do it if it was 2019. Ofc its almost impossible nowadays since mr. Fatcell maked the gap between pwr 1 and 11 way bigger (100% stats difference)
0:50 the thing ur forgetting is back then it was 5% more stats per upgrade its 10% now which makes it actually insanely hard
The reason people don’t like drumroll is because if there’s multiple people with the same brawler your rank is random, say someone wins the game and everyone is still the starting brawler, that person will get rank 1, and everyone else it will be random. It can be very frustrating when I’m high up in brawlers but I get 7th because everyone else has the same brawler too, you should be tied not just random
Drum roll is basically gun game but it's brawlers instead of guns. That's a great gamemode! Look, stealing kills is a problem in all game modes, not only in brawl stars. Even in games like call of duty, getting kills stolen is very common in modes like gun game.
What's actually bad is that in the following days, completely free to play you CANNOT FINISH THE EVENT TO GET THE SKIN, I have been playing everyday since the beginning of the event to get the rico skin but it turns out I have opened 4 megaboxes and with only few days remaining I can only get 3-4, meaning I can't reach 12 therefore this event is terrible and just an advertising campaign to get megaboxes for people that actually have money, Supercell getting greedier by the day is horrible.
drum roll is fundamentally a great game mode, but the fact that you need to get a kill with poco (one of the brawlers who deals the least damage) is a bit counter-intuitive
I am personally not the biggest fan of drumroll. I only have like 16000 trophies, and whenever I play, there are always guys with 30000+ trophies. I admit I'm not the best player, so it's hard when playing against tougher opponents.
They should make it so in drumroll permanent version changes the brawlers every time you play there isn’t the no gear/star power modifier and 1, 2, and 3rd get trophies instead of first just getting a token.
Drumroll could be a good weekly event ngl something like big game it could be fun in my opinion. people wont loose trophys but will get 100xp per wins like those speciall event quests
Drum roll is pretty awful imo. I think my main problem with it is that when someone does steal a kill, not only do they fully heal, they get full ammo. So you can just get fully punished for playing aggressive
Drum Roll and Mirror Match dont have anything to do with classic Brawl Stars. And, maybe it is just me, but when I play those game modes im not having fun at all. Theyre so stressful.
I feel like drumroll is a really cool concept and I feel bad saying that it's well, Bad. I kinda suck at some of the brawlers the game mode has and I start to rage even more when someone takes the kill and then kills me when I'm on low hp and have no ammo. It's also hard for me because I'm used to having gadgets, gears, and hyper charges. But it really isn't the game modes fault, it's more of your fault if you don't get to top 4
yeah, as a f2p player i have like 4 megaboxes (i got 2 pins and 2 player icons and also some gold, powerpoints, bling and gems), while in my matches i have players with all of the hyper rico skins' icons and pins
As someone who pushes all my brawlers up evenly, I absolutely love drumroll. I feel like a lot of ppl suck at it bc they specialize in on type of brawler but a well versed player can be amazing at it
7:03 that is me, it’s been 6 days into the event and all I got is a pin and a profile picture, ATGH MY FRIEND GOT 100 GEMS
0:30 Lvl 1 Frank 1240 damage😢 (12 to kill lvl 11 Frank) 7000 health😢 (Even Edgar has +6000 at max) Nothing else😭 Lvl 11 Frank 2480 damage😎 (only 4 to kill lvl 1 frank (left at 60 after three hits)) 14000 health😎(Huge) Godly gadget to deal 4960 dmg/immune to stun slow and knockback😎 Starpower to make his damage 3720 after killing anyone😎(+ 2× damage gadget= 7440(one shot lvl 1 frank)) Hypercharge to stun everyone in a huge area😎
FANG needs a reticle extension for his kick attack and his stun gadget needs to change to how el primos throw gadget works where you can only activate it if an enemy is in range!
this event just proves how bad unbalanced and luckbased boxes were some ppl just get crazy stuff and are happy but some get worst stuff possible and hate this event just never bring back boxes
"Drum roll is annoying because they steal kills" If we take it like that every gamemode is annoying: showdown when you don't get enough boxes, brawl ball when they just walk to the goal and your team can't do anything, gem grab when you just lose everything cuz your teammate is stupid, duels when kit, knockout when you have a teammate that wants to die, and heist when the opposite team just needs to walk forward and attack to win
All of those take skill😭 stealing kills in drumroll is WAYYY easier and it's annoying because it doesn't take any skills and anyone can jus come up from behind a take ts
@@JoanitusLC the person that said that said that for drum roll (if they meant it for all gamemodes then they wouldve not specified a game mode), so what you said really doesnt apply to that. i was trying to sarcastically take a conclusion on another argument you could use but i worded it terribly
Sent 158 gems on 4 mega boxes and all I got was a penny icon, and as a free to play player who only gets 50 gems per season, this makes me extremely unmotivated to play the game. Also most of my friends already have all the rico skins which only adds to my pain
my opinion about drumroll is changing because i hated it for the first few days it came out, because i just couldnt win, but i got a game that changed that. i thought i was losing because i was still on the first brawler, but then halfway through the game i steamrolled by getting all 7 kills within 20 seconds
Funny how I saw all of these yesterday on Twitter and still Watching nubbz💀(Yes Im a die hard nubbz fan) Edit: 3:45 emz…
It was possible to beat maxed out players with power ones because before the difference between level 1 and level 10(technically 9) was not that big, now a power 11 has twice as much health and damage than a level 1 player
I don’t hate drum role because people stealing kills it because it’s takes so fucking long to play one match over 5 mins for one fucking match that gives you nothing but one token
To be honest. I liked the gears when they were released more because you didn‘t need to spend any coins. I feel like they should have keept that Concept. Maybe I am the only one that feels like this but there is a possibility that there Are people who agree with me.
