The playfield is a little beat. Let's shine her up!
This machine will live again.
I bought this Blue Max machine from a dude in a lot. It had been completely destroyed and left to be parted out or burnt. Let's bring it back from the brink. Lots of work, but well worth it.
Long Live EM Pinball Machines!

Magic Eraser and alcohol is great for cleaning a dirty playfield. But you need to work gentle, slow, in small areas, and wipe it away ASAP before it dries. I know that's 'how' to do it but I just don't have the patience, and always end up going too fast and in too big an area. I want to see results NOW!!! 😶 As for the inserts, X-Acto has a blade that is flat on the end, kind of like a scraper. You could use that to get the 'bottom' part and corners clean, and then use a regular blade for the sides. Hopefully that stuff will harden a little to make it easier. But hey...you're progressing faster than I am. 😁 I really need to get back into my projects.

I tried scraping it out and stuff, but got fed up and just stuck a dremel in there. It got all that nasty glue out simply and quickly. Power tools are awesome.
