I’m going to assume that this is on the Earth’s moon (Luna) due to there being moon-like craters all over the surface. However, the moon would have different temperatures depending on what time it is. I’m assuming this takes place at night due to the fact that some objects/contestants have frozen to death. Now that we have this out of the way, let’s go over to mug. I believe there is no way they could’ve frozen that fast. With the temperature being approximately -173°C (-280°F) on the Moon’s night side, a clay mug is also fired at high temperatures, so it can resist some extremes. However, at such a low temperature, it would become extremely brittle. Any slight impact or additional stress could cause the clay to crack or even shatter. Mug might survive intact as long as it remains undisturbed, but any external force, such as micrometeoroid impacts or mechanical stress, could break it. The temperature fluctuation from the Moon’s day to night cycle could cause internal stress, leading to small cracks or fractures in the clay over time. However, this does not explain how they froze and died almost immediately. Also surviving longer than plants and fruits. For Cactus, Apple and Pumpkin, they would all almost instantaneously die due to lack of oxygen, no explanation needed here. Anyways, for Tea Box, a tea box made of cardboard or paper would fare the worst in these conditions. At -173°C, the organic fibers of the paper or cardboard would freeze and become incredibly brittle. The box could easily crack, split, or fall apart with little external force. Even without any mechanical pressure, the extreme cold would cause the box to deteriorate rapidly. The material would likely become brittle enough to disintegrate or shatter due to the thermal contraction. (This is a joke btw)
