Hi Charlotte! Happy December 😊. Just wanted to say that you don’t need to worry if you’re doing enough to make sure the season is magical for your kids bc I think that if we, as parents, are at all aware of how magical we’re making the season it’s magical enough, do you know what I mean? I also think social media makes it hard not to compare our lives to others (duh, I know. But it’s easy to forget sometimes that’s the case). Like, I sometimes see your videos and think “wow look at all she does for her kids, I need to step it up,” when in reality my kids are so happy and spoiled with love bc I’m already doing a great job as it is. I do get a lot of great ideas from you though and admire you as a mom so that’s why I stick around, I know your content isn’t messing with my perception of my life… I feel like I’ve gone on such a tangent but I hope what I was trying to say came across properly. You’re doing great, above and beyond the best you can, and your kids are happy and so are the rest of us in our own way! Love your holiday content, even the basic life bits 💜

Hey Charlotte, hope you’re well good morning I’m happy, good and well thank you Today I’m at home going to be trying to stay on top of work preparing the last few bits for my birthday coming up next week. Maybe going out to get a new carpet or rug for my bedroom. It’s also really happy and excited week because it’s nearly my birthday on 9th December and also Christmas too. Children ideally grow up in the bubble of their parents' love and healthy relationship. And we are left with our spouses when the children are grown and off on their own adult adventures. You are clearly doing well with healthy eating. The prize for the future is your children will have eating habits that will sustain them in a more fit and healthy adult life from good habits learned at home, modelled at home. If you are home when your children get home from school, they will generally open up about their experiences in the course of the rest of the day and doing homework. It has to be more spontaneous when they have regrouped from school. At the end of the day, is everyone alive and well, including the fur babies? Then, all is well. LOL.
