I had my saxophones repaired today by longtime friend and fellow saxman Craig Lawrence. Craig also collects, refurbishes and sells vintage horns. Going to his place is like visiting a sax museum.
I'm a kid and he owns the candy store!
Today I tried a vintage Grafton alto sax. The body is made of acrylic from an injection mold and the neck, keys and ribbing are bronze plated brass. Wow!
