The concept reminds me of that old VR game called Duck Season, based on the 8-bit arcade game called Duck Hunt

Cool game, didn't take long to give me the creeps. My interpretation of it is the guy we play in the game is like a burgeler, hence the character sneaking every time we went inside a house. And maybe the kid stops him when he breaks in his house with the bucket of acid. Maybe he dies and comes back through the game to seek revenge. Like some creepy Home Alone pay back 😂. At least that's what I got from it. Either way kudos to the devs for a cool scary game

This game is very short but I think it's quite clever and big props to the dev for making it in just a month !

hey mike! i saw ryan play this game a few weeks back and he had the same idea about the vengance thing because the game name says "Repay" at the end which could mean the guy who's face was burnt off came to exact revenge

The game seems to betray us as a child so it would make sense the acid thing was a prank gone wrong

The promise of this game feels like one of those video game creepypastas from the early 2010s all it needs is creepy stock music and an narrator

Something interesting is that the REPLAY word shown in the menu and end sometimes shows with the L, spelling REPAY, which suggests that we the player are repaying for something bad we did

My god this is EXACTLY my biggest childhood fear. Anytime I was sat at the tv alone at night I was constantly checking all the hallways and doors, sure that that night, something would come out of one of them

When you mentioned why the character was sneaking in their own house I just thought: "oh, so I guess that we are controlling the guy who is going to kill us". I know it was predictable, but it have some good atmosphere that made ir scary, like knowning that a bomb will explode at some point.

This reminds me of an old Oculus Rift game called ALONE. It has the same kind of premise where you are in a house playing a video game on a tv inside the game, which worked really well for a VR setting! That was one of my favorite short VR horror games.

Cute hame, but I feel like I've seen so many games that feature someone playing a game while someone or something comes into their home related to what they are doing in the game, it's a trope. I think there was a game very similar to this except for the storyline.

This reminds me A LOT of another game… specifically the one made by the same developer of [The Wind] that markiplier and other personalities played back in the day… it had the same vibe, but you were instead playing a 2D black and white handheld game. I like how the main character just doesn't give a f*ck. Door opening on its own, powering going on and off, pool of blood appearing in the room, creepy face appearing behind them. And all the while they're just like "I don't care, I wanna play my game" lol

The game seems a little basic on the story but the ending was very scary. We were controlling the monster and we had no idea. If this game was real and I was in there in real life I would not survive. No way will this ever be real. Ever!
