The ps2 version really does showcase “less is more” when it comes to limiting the draw distance. After playing the DE and playing with the enhanced draw distance, you realise how goofy it makes the game look when you can see all 3 cities from one spot if you’re high enough. The ps2 felt so much bigger.
If rage version was finished, it will be the best GTA SA edition when i ever played. Graphics improvement, physics improvement and gameplay improvement
@@kratos56015 Like I said, I know!!! Okay, maybe I'm not being clear enough.... HE MEANT IF ROCKSTAR GAMES OFFICIALLY RELEASED THE DEFINATIVE EDITION ON RAGE ENGINE INSTED OF UNREAL ENGINE!!! There's no way English is your first language my guy.
Did they cancel the Rage version? I recalled that I installed one of their mods for IV to VC back in 2013 or so. I wonder whether the team is doing fine nowadays…
I have the ps3 version and I did have a lot of fun, my biggest disappointment is the lack of vegetation. No crops, no grass, no desert bushes or trees. The shiny clothes are weird but I can look past that. The cars bouncing when you drive is weird too, but again, no a major issue to me.
RAGE IV and V are the best (if we ignore the original PS2 and PC versions). The graphics mod is nice as well, it just needed better optimization coz a lot of the textures were too reflective or shiny and some of the shadows are too dark. Regardless whoever made the mod has more of a right to be called Grove Street Games than the developers of the Defective Edition.
@@seer_uchiha3558 I use IMG tool and txd tool to add mods. I downloaded custom mods from all over the Internet. Now I think I have a unique customization of my game.
I like how u search everything for us ❤ thanks homie! Also i play gta sa in ps2 and then pc lastly playing in mobile right now its good in mobile but i can't put cheats so ok but R Thanks HOMIE!!
People hate the Definitive Edition way too much, some of the people hating on it probably don’t know the game is way better now than when it was first released.
I bet the funniest was the cartoon mod with that billboard saying 'What the hell is happening ?' And with an answer as SPARTTAAAAAA. 😂😂😂 Although I bet the graphic modded version should have been what the definitive edition of gta san Andreas should have looked like in general in my opinion.
2:12 i don't care whatever people say to me but i like mobile version too, still enjoy it. But ofc, PS2 and PC versions are always best even if i love iOS/Android versions.
The ps2 version is the first ever game i played, i used to play co-op mode with my older brother and just messed arround doing random things in los santos. Those were some good days 😊
You forgot to put the Xbox Classic version, but doesn't matter because its the PC version but in 480p. ( And the Xbox 360 version, but it's the same sh** PS3 Console version. ) Anyway. Good video! I watch your videos frequently and enjoy it with popcorn. It is fun.
Playing the ps2 version on my ps5 again right now and it's a blast from the past, just so fucking nostalgic growing up with it and playing it on the ps2 almost daily. I start a new playthrough every few years, this is the first time without any cheats 😂
Bulan Puasa tahun 2014 pertama kali punya laptop .gue download ini game terus pasang mod 😅 kamar gue ampe penuh karena pada pengen maen ni game sumpah nostalgia banget sampe kgk sadar udah adzan magrib
In my childhood it's been a dude, who think, that ever game is just GTA Mod. He said, for example, GTA Mafia, GTA Far Cry, GTA NFS, GTA FlatOut... I palmed my face so long from this
There are also lots of mod for gta sa like: Gta United, Gta Underground, Zombie Andreas, Alien City and like these. Also you can have San Andreas map in Gta Vice City 😂
I love ps2 version because it was the first version I ever tried plus it's nostalgia and orange vibe, I love PC version (and android version to some extent due to smooth controls) because of all the great mods and textures and hd graphics settings in 60fps, shout-out to gta modding community still keeping this masterpiece of a revolutionary videogame alive🎉
Ps3 version is hands down the best looking. Ps2 is the classic but the ps3 version looks just like the mobile games which I always found more appealing to look at. I‘ve played the original a ton when I was a kid on my ps2 tho.
10:30 Now I imagine an incredible WHAT IF! The most wanted character escaping from that city whose name I can't remember now, he finds himself in San Andreas and not in Need for Speed carbonoon
I'm kinda hoping that the community will turn the definitive edition into something functional. The original is still fine with some fan patches but the game could really use a more modern engine because it's getting more and more incompatible with modern systems and I imagine at some point it will be impossible to keep alive with mods. Though I suppose PS2 emulation is always going to be an option
Bruh, "defective edition" is basically FUBAR in terms of quality, gameplay mechanics and countless glitches, it's unfixable. We can have "mostly" fixed version of DE by users/modders, but it 100% never been close to initial release of the game unfortunately.
I think its gotta be redone in a whole new engine because I have never felt so claustrophobic in a open world map than I have in the d.e of san andreas
Well so far, imo, Definitive Edition plus mods to fix bunch of bugs and stuff, is the visually most appealing version + new features that DE is offering.
It might just be me but the ps2 version is my favourite. Might be bias tho cause first time when i played gta was on the xbox original version which is the same one as this
From my experience the PS2 is the best version, followed by the early variations of the PC version. It's kind of sad you have to downgrade your PC version of the game. Then patch in the new resolution updates through mods now days though. PS2 version honestly just wins because no cut content even has a pseudo multiplayer functionality, and the best overall weather effects out of all the variations.
Grove Street studio did the mobile port in 2013, it was okay. They deleted a lot of game functions, but it was considered necessary due to lack of a dedicated controller on a mobile phone. Then this same studio ported the MOBILE VERSION of the game to PS3 and Xbox 360, which is insane. The game was essentially broken at this point. At this point Rockstar is still hiring this studio to do the trilogy, which just proves that Rockstar literally has no respect for this game or us players. Guess what? They screwed up badly because the trilogy was a port of the remastered Xbox 360/PS3 version of the game, which is a port of the mobile version, which is an abridged port of the original! And here we are. I have serious doubts about the coming GTA6. I really do.
@@whooshmeifgay2593 tbh new games don't look interesting to me. I like to play old games, like Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Beyond Good and Evil, Rygar... GTA is my favorite game series, so i play much more than other games because I'm always discovering new things
So I started off playing on Mobile which will forever be a childhood favorite but I beat the game in PS3 and the PS2 version was too damn difficult for me because I am not the best gamer and the XBOX 360 version was interesting to me but the PC version will forever be the best in my opinion and the definitive edition will forever be a failure to me
