if you want win pirate do these steps 1. disband all your troops on army 2. end turn until turn 19 (Pirate arrives) 3. Use capitan for more damage 4. capture some states for resourse 5. Repeat the Process and you will win the game 6. use your diamonds (i wanna say that early ;-;) 7. complete all objective and you will win

Ive always play nightmare mode when i choose the country have big territory in conflict and if i choose country with small territory i choose conquest

Another tip: Max all of the tax and food you will get lets say 5000 when food cost can be bellow 500 and you make profit

I find playing as the Pirates time wasting and boring in my opinion theirs not really any fun in it other than watching you go through 1000 attempts trying to master playing as them when I'd have more fun playing as Saxony on Nightmare, the only thing cool about them is in game when you attack them and their theme is dope as f, but other than that they aren't much a threat
