I have played at pier 5 since it was made 5 years ago. The field is beautiful and is great at night when you can see the NYC skyline. However, it is notorious for having the absolute worst pickup and the worst players play there in the whole city lol. Pier 40 in Manhattan is definitely the place to go if you want to play good soccer in NYC.
