No worries man, Patrick is still 1400s. Have you seen how Yon dude easily climbed to 2k? His calculations is not deeper than yours and his ideas are pretty simple, just the number of blunders is 10 times lower. It's strange but i feel if you play positionally you often gain an advantage and if you're trying to force things and get complications bad things happen.

It's not that difficult to reach 2000 in rapid due to weak pool of players. Yon is still 1400 blitz.

that's how you get better. analyze without engine. that's why you're 1400 and I'm 2200

Watching your games and commentaries are part of my daily routine. I'm a miserable chess player because I play far too hastily. Thanks to your videos, I have learnt to play much more analytically and have been able to improve my game. I admire your sportsmanlike attitude in defeats, I can still learn a lot in this respect. I'm sure you'll soon pass the 2000 mark. Thanks for the great videos. Keep up the good work!

It’s just consistency. He started as a hasty player too, but now he’s almost at the 2000 mark. You can probably get there one day too

bro the line u were playing with f4 in the vienna na4 is the move that makes the line work so u can get rid of the bishop and castle na4 ends my theory in that position
