taking that pawn is dangerous unless you have a plan for getting out of the pin. in a lot of positions that turns out to be an eternal pin where white can continually stack up pressure and you just lose the piece.

It would be interesting to get a heart monitor like Eric Rosen uses. I was getting a little bit tense just watching.

the first time i got close to 2000 i was at like 1993 or something then proceeded to lose ~200 rating points over the next 2 weeks. was like 1803 at my lowest or something. this is useless information but seeing the high 1900 ratings triggered a painful memory. 😭😂

the only issue i see from ur games, u just playing buy the rules all the time, not seeking any tactical moves, he offers u a trade u taking it without hesitate or you chasing a trade all the time which shows u lack of creativity from your games. I'm not saying this as an insult or somthing like that, im just saying what i see and i think you can easily solve this issue with puzzle practices, hope you get 2k soon

You missed a beautiful rook sack at 14:36. First Rg2 then if king takes slide the queen to h3, the kings only move is g1 then you deliver mate on h1 with the queen. If the king decides to move to f1 instead of taking the rook then its the same idea with rh1 check. The king is forced to take the rook on g2, then you deliver mate with the queen on h3
