Zi-Apollo’s head design reminds me of Lancelot Albion. except it’s black and red

The "super mode" used by the Zi-Apollo, is called "Megistus Zeta" (you can see it on the screen of Ash's cockpit right before he activates it), and actually makes an appearance in the Re;surrection movie. When Shalio is fighting against Suzaku with his Nagid Shu Mane, he activates a similar function and calls it "Megistus Omega", both serve essentially the same function in making their Knightmares move much faster, showing that they're both using basically the same technology.
