Playing ENTER THE GUNGEON For The First Time Ever 

Please dont let this be a One-Off, its such a lovely handcrafted game with tons of jokes and references and hundreds of secrets to discover. Im sure im not the only one that thinks only playing this game once would let it go to waste.

My guy literally got to the fifth floor on his first gungeon run. What a god.

Mythy youre literally a god, you got to the fifth floor first try I cant believe it, also some tips about gungeon: You died because you stepped on the lava and got the burning status, you can see it over your head, the only way to get rid of it is rolling until its gone, the other status you can get is poisoned but it only damages you if you stand long enough in the poison. Also yeah this game has a lot of secrets, even in the first floor, I would suggest that you should pay a little more attention to the fireplace room... Really hope you continue playing it!

Just a few small tips if you play this again. Secret rooms most likely appear in either chest rooms or in the elevator room after the boss. Blanks always reset back to 2 (unless u have 2 or more) every floor so use them before entering a new floor. All non-infinite ammo weapons can reveal secret rooms so it might be worth just checking the chest/elevator rooms before going to the next floor. You are able to break chests if you do not have a key. They have a tiny chance to drop health or even the item that was suppose to be in there. But most of the time it will be Junk. Even then there is a tiny chance of any Junk to be Junken a little companion that levels up with each piece of Junk you have in your inventory. Funny you should say that that room is like hell. The final floor is literally called Bullet Hell.

You should turn on "Increase speed out of combat" in the settings and turn on "beast mode" to unlock an item after beating the game. Here are some things you might want to know, but if you want to figure out things by yourself that's fine. Flawless-ing bosses will give you a health upgrade so you generally want to save blanks for bosses (getting hit while shielded does count and you lose the flawless). Chest ranking goes like this (Black - Red - Green - Blue - Brown). The shop always has a key available and every floor has 2 chests one has an active/passive item and one has a gun.

Btw, when using Big Bang, you can hold the trigger to release a huge explosion.

Please, play this more, also, some tips, first, every floor your blanks get refilled to 2 (if you have 3 you just have 3 on the next floor) also, the chest quality is: Rainbow>black>red>Green>blue>Brown. (You get the second best chest (black) on the second floor). And third, the gun you got from the black chest does a blank efect if you charge It Up (It Will throw 2 bullets instead of one and if they touch the blank effect happens), fourth, save powerful weapons like the glass cannon for bosses, fifth, if you beat a Boss without taking damage you get 1 extra heart container, and sixth, (only continue reading if you want to know the answear to the puzzle in the fourth floor) reload with your sidearm to throw casings, they will reveal the path.

The Orange thingy is a nod to a game called God Hand. The orange restored HP in the game The item description has even part of the lyrics for the credits theme

So glad your playing this! One of my all time favourite games. A hint is that every floor has guaranteed 2 chests, one will be a gun, one will be an item. Also, the chests have rarities from brown (common), blue, (uncommon) green, (rare) red (super-rare) black (legendary) and...a couple others I won't spoil. Try and find both chests before opening one to make sure you get the rarest, and if you open the chest with an item, and are happy with the guns you have you dont need to open the other one as you know for sure it will have a gun. a little tip, if you kill a boss without taking any damage you get a thing called the master round that increases your max health by one full heart (or two hits). Those are really helpful so don't save your blanks on bosses, it sets your blank to two if you have less than two everytime you enter a new floor. Great stuff man! Ez tips for good run. 1. Chest rarity depends on their color. Rainbow being the best 2. Killing boss without a taking damage gives a health upgrade 3. Using your blanks is essential in certain situations + you always start a new floor with 2 blanks so you should use them 4. Prime primar + 3 other bullet parts is for the killing the charactors past. Fun fact: in the settings there is an option which makes you faster when not in combat. Also chest colors determine the rarity of the item Brown is D-B, Blue is C-B, Green is B, Red/Gold is A, Black is S, and very rarely you'll find a Rainbow Chest (which can be disguised as a brown chest) that gifts 8 items of B-S in rarity (you get to take them all).

The chest colors are indicative of how good the items inside can be. brown is the most basic, then blue, then green etc. That black chest you found was actually incredible rare as it's the second-best tier!

a way out. its a SUPER GOOD online coop game that really fits your kind of humor, i really think you would enjoy playing it with may. hell only 1 of you have to even own the game

Few beginner tips: - Chest colors represent the rarity of item they have in them. Brown is the lowest then blue, green, red and black. There are also other types of chests but I am not gonna spoil them. - When you are on fire (like at the end) roll a few times to get rid of it. - Unless it is a good quality chest, you have a ton of keys or are desperate wait to open chests as you might find something better to do with your key. - Statues always tell you what you have to do to use them (although they are not always direct) - When you find caged characters there will always bee a key on the floor so clear it fully. - If you can't open a chest then you should destroy it (only at the end of the level tho as you might get a key at any time). Most of the time you will get junk but there is a chance that you will get something great by doing it. Oh there is also a chance that you will get the item that was in them. - If you kill bosses without being hit you get extra rewards. - Finally on the first floor you can put out the fire place in the big room if you have a gun that uses water (or other liquids) or by rolling a water barrel into it. A barrel will always spawn on the floor it might be in the room or in another one. It can also be destroyed by projectiles so you have to draw enemy fire away from ii and not shot if yourself. I know some people will say that the last one is spoiling too much but frankly idc as I consider it a super minor spoiler that will lead him to find other secrets on his own.

myth you walked on the fire on the floor at the end, as it builds you take damage, to decrease the fire gauge you need to dodgeroll until the symbol on your character is gone. Chest rarity order = Rainbow > black > red >green > blue > brown. Some guns have a charge feature so just spamming the trigger button is not always the best way to use a gun. also if you defeat a boss with no damage taken you get a permanent health up

A tip:If you touch the lava and roll the lava affect wont happen it just gets rid of it because of the I frame of the dodge roll

Oh damn. That dark marker gun is actually one of the best guns you can get but for another reason. You can charge it up to shoot the two red and blue thing and it makes a huge explosion that does a lot of damage AND acts like a blank that clears all bullets.

Gungeon and Binding of Isaac are two of my most beloved games, if you want smoother but darker go for Isaac, for the absolutely insane runs that get your heart pounding, keep playing Gungeon. Honestly I'd love to see either become a series haha.

Also myth. Your glass canon didn't run out of ammo, it gets destroyed when you get hit while you have it out, that's literally why it's a glass canon, you can re-use it by getting more ammo for it.

Remember that some guns can also do charge shots, like the black matter one, and some items and guns sinergize, you'd have to figure it out by yourself what the sinergizement does since the game doesn't explain it, i used to check the wiki, sinergized items are light blue with a pointing up arrow on them

So here’s what happened with glass cannon, basically its super op but if you take ANY DAMAGE AT ALL it loses all ammo even if you lost half a hart with the gun at max ammo. The chests have different colours to show different qualities, brown is the lowest, blue is slightly above it, green is like mid, red/ gold chests are the second best and black and rainbow are the best. Also, for the room in chamber 2 , i dont wanna spoil too much but you have to do something with the fire on chamber 1, get a secret item and place it there for an extra boss. Also, and again no spoilers, you have to fo to the blacksmith to craft the bullet that can kill the past, you’ve already seen the prime prime in chamber 2 and once you kill the dragun you have to shatter his skull to get the last peice, the other 2 are hidden. Ps if you do the bosses hitless you get an item that boosts your hp

Dude you gotta play this more (if you want to of course)! This is one of my favorite games ever. When I first played this I didn’t put it down for months, and it’s the kind of game that just keeps on giving. There’s some fun stories with little quests in this game, and I’d personally love to see you play through it (again, if you want).

Probably my favorite of this genre. Tip if you intend to keep playing this: when getting a new gun or item, read the codex thing, can be useful.

I just started playing this a couple of days ago... And Mythy puts up a video on that exact game... I'm in awe.

The Dark Marker (red and blue gun) is actually way better than you think! If you charge it, it not only causes an explosion but a also blank effect. Really important to save that ammo for boss fights, it makes it a bunch easier!

Really hoping for more of this! Also getting to fifth floor on your first try... Like, I've beat the game by now, but when I first started, I couldn't even REACH the FIRST boss.

If you don’t know yet some items work on along with some guns, some guns can work with other guns. So for example the glass canon get what’s called a synergy with the glass shards you pick up. You get different shots, ability’s and a ton of things like that depending on the synergy

Tip for you! Chest rooms especially and some others (you'll learn the spots over time) have walls you can crack with a weapon that isn't your infinite ammo gun. I suggest you beat the game with every character because they all have their own endings/you can unlock some extra characters and stuff! Also - that little piggy ring is honestly the BEST item. You'll find out why one day!

first of all your an absolute god. Second i got some tips for if you play again. Water barrels in the fireplace room on the first floor can be rolled into the fireplace to extinguish the flames and unlocks a secret floor. learn enemy and boss patterns to ensure survival dodge roll when you see the fire symbol above your head don't stand in poison for too long if you can save your keys for the end of the floor to see which chests are better to open hope you do well next time

here's some tips: ranks can be deceiving at times; for instance, casey is a d-rank but surprisingly good unless you LITERALLY CAN'T, don't leave things behind (unless you have the ring of resourceful rat friendship in which case you'll get an item of the same tier once)

If you go to your setting and check box the move faster out of combat it helps alot

gungeon hype for this series, came originally for hollow knight but im real happy to see this series, cheers and good luck in the gungeon!

I promise that you have barely scratched the surface of this game It is filled with guns, puns and secrets galore all tied up with of quirky characters that can provide shops new modes and mid run bonuses, all waiting to be unlocked

would love to see a full series out of this

When i fought that first boss battle i instantly recognised him as Raven from Mgs1, quite cool

Reminds me of the game Soul Knight on phone. Playstore have it. Its like this game but with a bunch of characters with different skills and abilities. You can choose a pet. Many costumes for different characters. The bosses are actually pretty hard in the game ngl, some of them are kinda easy. No roll for every characters, just one character could roll and that's 1 of his abilities. Keep up the good work brother.

There is a shit ton of secret floors, bosses, items, and unlockable characters. You should DEFINITELY do more videos on this or at least just enjoy it on your own time!

This game gets so fucking fun after you’ve played it for a while. It’s up to you but I would definitely watch if you decided to play more of this.

Fun fact about the “Dark marker” gun you got from the black chest, if you hold down the shoot button then let it go it will fire 2 red and blue bullets that hit together and trigger and effect similar to blanks ALSO, if you don’t have a key you can shoot chests to break them open, although you usually won’t get anything if you do, and isn’t recommended until after a boss fight since bosses sometimes drop Keyes ALSO ALSO Certain guns combo with other guns and will upgrade while you have both of them, also works with guns/item combos and item/item combos I really hope you continue to play gungeon, it really is a great game

That is a really good, and fun game.. I played it a lot a few years ago, and just loved it, I sometimes come back to it to play a few games... It's really fun, and the good kind of challenging... Not too frustrating, but still hard, and extremely pleasant when you finally succeed... Hope you'll play more of that !

Mythy great job getting to the fifth floor first try. The game is a lot of fun and it also has some Co-op capabilities if you manage to work that out. lol. Btw if you notice some items get a little up arrow over you when you pick it up. That means you got a synergy meaning that the items now have bonus effects, you can check it out in the encyclopedia in the game (where the info on the tennis ball, your dog is). Love the content keep Mythy!

Some notes about your items/guns: -The Black matter has a special shot if you hold fire that deals damage to all enemies and destroys enemy bullets, really powerful gun -The AC-15 (the gun you got from the muncher) changes if you have armor, it gains a slower but much powerful shot -The Glass cannon as you saw deals very high damage, but if you get hit while having it equiped it loses all ammo -The orange is a one time use active that gives you one heart container, full health and 2 coolness, a hidden stat that decreases the cooldown of your active items and increases the rewards of clear rooms -The blue arrow that appeared when you got some items is the indicative of a sinergy between that item/gun and another that you have. All synergies are useful and powerful. -There are always two chests on a floor, one has an item and the other a gun -USE YOUR GODDAMN BLANKS

That bird is a nice reference to Vulkan raven from metal gear solid 1 XD

Had my favorite gun the Dark Marker the whole run and didn't charge once, next time you play you should check to see if your guns have a charge attack because DM would have destroyed all projectiles in the room if you aimed it right. This was waaay too good of a first run and I hope you enjoy this game as much as I do, good vid as usual Mythy!

I got nothing to suggest, all I can think of is like... VN style JRPGs that are very story heavy. But I did want to say, this was great to watch and can't wait to see more!
