As someone has pointed out, I accidentally cut out Alaska's round while editing. You can see it fill in on the map around 14:50 - the map was auto-updating itself, so we did find Alaska. Hope you all still enjoyed the video!

Hey, as a fellow Chicagoan, I’m surprised you didn’t know about Rt 34! It’s Ogden Ave & starts in River West (technically, although the actual route starts outside the city) & goes through the burbs, out through Plano, Sandwich, Etc, & continues west to Colorado.

I mean, the road u were on I literally drive on that exact road every day 😂 crazy. I recognized it right away! Literally a minute down the street and you are in Mass too haha 🤣 I see more Mass plates than RI plates here I swear. NY plates very common too.

Hi Chicago Geographer, I don't know if you've had anyone do this for you before or heard this before, but I did a little bit of math and figured out the expected number of "repeated states" by the end of the game. It turns out that the expected number is approximately 174.96 repeated states - we can safely round that up to 175. Mathematically, it's not easy or trivial to figure this out, but I'd be happy to expand if you're interested in the math behind the number. This means that in the average game, you are expected to hit about 175 repeats! Just so you know, that's the benchmark average. This means if you're counting repeats, you can gauge whether or not you played statistically well :D
