Most of 40% ers is f2p it's why get matched with idiot. I have compare tech tree tank vs premium tank. Tech tree tank tend to get under 50% WR even have highest damage average. Premium tank tend to have WR more than 55% despite lower damage average. Some of freemium just like tech tree tank.
@@unknowndivision170Its called a skill issue. My best performing tier 10s are by far tech tree tanks. Coming from a f2p player. Some premiums at lower tiers may be better than tech tree tanks, but a lot of premiums arent. Lower tiers are also a lot less competetive and shouldnt be taken so seriously
@@prgn7 You call 2K damage in tier VIII is skill issue? How about fuck teammate with 0 damage? You can't win game alone 1 vs 7. It's not war thunder when you can kill a tank in one hit. Ammo rack in WoT blitz is probability, not 100% guarantee
I would say the armor is the key! The hull armor of the tank is ridiculously troll, the survivability makes that tank very strong, along with the clipping potential.
Annihilator has no competition in Tier 7. Smasher and Witch arent on the same level as Anni. The WR of annihilator will always be low, because if you play Annihilator, you will always fight against an enemy annihilator in every battle
Where does this come from, I heard that in the past but I very rarely have Annis on both sides... VERY rarely. If it is in the MM, it's very loosely enforced on NA.
@@tricky48you might actually had not paid enough attention my friend, I also play in NA, and almost every time I see an Annihilator in battle is in both sides, sometimes there may be 1 in one side and 2 in the other, but there most likely be at least 1 Anni per side.
They nerfed this tank without touching the stats, it's brilliant, I noticed that I started to fase other annihilators in about 2 months after the release, and that's when they nerfed it, and It’s almost impossible to play in a platoon on annihilators due to this nerf
So a video about the great armour of this tank, but no armour inspector and almost no one shot at the tank for the two games played. This video would have really benefitted with some views from the armour inspector. Or getting some bounces in gameplay. Let them shoot at you :-D The last enemy shot (VK) where did that penetrate? As an enemy I would like to know where to shoot. Droodles mentioned the outer turret cheeks? Otherwise great explanation of how to maximize the dpm. Another reason why this tank has high WR must be because not many play it and those that do are better than average.
Dude the armor is 193 for the turret and 123 for the hull frontaly yes the cheeks are a weeknes the other "gun" is a spot as well if ya look in armor inspector. Amd fun fact you get bounces when in reality you kinda shouldn't which is actually funny
Standard pattern on this channel. Too many joke battles against weak opponents so we never see the true strength, or alleged attribute, of the tank in action.
I think you missed one important point. What tanks are matched against you. If you play an Annihilator, you usually have another Annihilator or Smasher against you. The Forest Witch often matched against a tech tree tank. That makes a big difference.
In your original video you drove to the top of the bridge on new bay in front of the entire enemy team camping and took shots from all of them, bouncing tons of shots. That is why this tank is performing well.
I recommend getting obj 752. Jack of all trades. 374 HEAT pen, 2 clip autoloader over 400 damage per shot slap, troll armor (happens to bounce even tier x), okay speed but bad traverse. I got mine last year from snow globe f2p.
Its because of the armor. Whenever I play in a Tier 6, 7 or 8 and enemy has a forest witch. He dump all his clip and quickly backs up. But the fact that most of the time I see them camping at the back which makes them safe.
It's new and little used (has 1/3 the players and 1/15 the games as the Smasher in the same time period), so the 40%ers don't know how to deal with it. While it does seemingly have better armor, the Anni armor is more troll. In game, I don't really worry about it on red like I do with a Smasher or Annihilator.

The Forrest Witch does well because it was difficult to obtain and therefore primarily dedicated players, who are typically higher skilled, got it. It was the same as the CS 52 LIS, which led win rates because to get it required an elite challenge of over 2000 average damage during the event. Once it was given free, its win rate collapsed. 50TP Prototype is another example. Basically identical to the regular 50TP, yet massive win rate difference due to the player base that owns it.
I was hoping wargambling would have made the Forest Witch a light tank for the horror universe family. Dracula is a medium, Helsing and Nightmare are tank destroyers, Lycan is a heavy, Tankenstein is a heavy (for some reason it's German and they haven't reclassified it as a blitz nation vehicle) would have been cool they finally made a light tank. Annihilator and Smasher are Mad Max universe tanks (Scavenger and Spike) so I'm not counting them.
Check player numbers Droodles, it has 3 times less players than the Smasher and the damage ratio is also lower. Probably a small number of good players drive it, unlike the Smasher and Annhilator.
Imagine as a newb learning the game you gotta face an unfamiliar troll armored heavy tank that looks intimidating, it came to you menacingly (unknowingly to work with it's limited gun dep) and do you damage like bang-bang-bang. You won't be prepared to aim, not like you could trade damage with it much, your first instinct is to run right? Wrong. Next time you face it again it's already reload it's clip and ready to take the rest of your hp away. Smasher & Annie already known to be strong, so one would be aware of it thus prepared after looking the enemy line up, not with the Witch (+ it's not stuck in preferential mm so it would face more people in not-broken tech tree tank)
People if this comes to the store and you buy it DO NOT "Dump your clip" as he said in the video. That is a bad Idea you have 18 (17 with vents) to reload your frist shell which make you a easy target especially since the forests witch has a "weak" ammo rack plus your loader likes to join in with your ammo rack being hit who i dub "the lazy loader". The armor profile is just 193 (turret) and 123 (hull) which is angled in the 200MM range of thickness for both the turret and the hull frontaly which can produces funny and troll bounces from some teir 8s as well with teir 7s. Mobility is quite average at 35 nothing special.
This thing destroyed me while in a Tier 8 GSOR… I was like wtf is hitting me 4 times? I never even knew this tank existed. I just looked at it and thought it had 2 barrels… I couldn’t tell bc it just destroyed me. Weird looking.
@erikdead8290 FUN? Yes, it is fun it gets boring really quickly like that annoying special kid in class that you have to tolerate because you don't wanna be rude. I find the tankenstine more fun, even the predator and the vindicator fun, because there is not a tank that feels like an average 152mm heavy tank that people mostly play and say "I'm good at the game" that mostly falls to the smasher and the annihilator especially the smasher since it's in more crates then the annihilator
@ 9:43 he didnt even bother to shoot aT all, its a rare tank and he doesnt know where to aim so he just shoot other tank making you more likely to survive an engagement with your team thus winrate and survival rate is higher than everything . you should play tanks with the highest survival rate too in the game
I think thats the Way to play it, Dump the Whole clip into one Tank & Move on to the next one while Reloading, if it's not dead then it will be a one shot for your team to finish off Anyway.
stats do not lie i have to agree i much rather face a annihilator or a pharoah the fact that this tank can take a good player in 3 secs is a deal breaker

@@Cosmic2017 that is why i said it is a hard tank to play. All the more experience it gives. I'm only a 50% winrate player, mind you, so i don't know as much of the game as the youtubers, but i only play to have fun, and never to up my winrate and stress myself on it :)
Nope, don't but the IS-6, it is kinda powercrept at this point, the WZ-112-2 (Celestial) is better in almost every aspect: more reliable armor, crazy heat pen, better turret, and it reverses at 20 kmh! It is more mobile as well, the only weaknesses are the weak ammo rack and the lack of gun dep, but even with that I would say it is the best russian-like heavy along with the Obj-252U. Also don't buy the Lorraine if you are new or not good with meds, it is probably one of the harderst meds to play, if not the hardest. The T34 is good if you want to play hull down and hit hard with its great gun with great gun dep and pen, however it is a bit left behind nowadays.
Sure not as OP than an annihlator, but it have two things better than it, 1 the armor, 2 the clips that allows u to shoot one enemy at a time, where in the anni you have to dump the full clip even if the enemy got just a few hp (u could argue that the anni is better since it take him less time to dump the clip, but in tier 7, u will likely stay against a lot of enemies at the end while ur team dies in the first minutes)
@Droodles Blitz Something that is just factually incorrect is calling the belt or revolving mechanism in the floor a clip. Tanks depending on the autoloading system either the ammo is stored in tube's on a belt where it's fed into the chamber via the belt. Or into a revolving mechanism on the floor. The bustle system uses the belt and the carousel system uses the revolving mechanism on the floor. In neither system a clip exists so please stop calling it a clip, tanks just don't have clips in autoloaders.

It's also the ugliest tank in game. I mean seriously who designed this look, don't fire them, just give them the most menial, degrading tasks you have at the studio.
Noob droods..never fire the last shell kid. Witch is way better than an anni...you gain the ability to actually hit something that is at distance with the witch. Anni is only great in a cqb type brawl. Witch does both snipe and brawl. Smasher can snipe and brawl but doesn't have the armor that the Witch has.
