Lol I remember downloading Minecraft education edition on the school Chromebooks and vibing with the rest of the class, the teacher basically talking to herself.
Just a quick correction, sudo apt update only refreshes the availble updates sudo apt upgrade actually updates your linux packages sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade does both at the same time.
Plugging in external monitors / components will put more stress onto the laptop and slow it down... try some efficiency settings and using the ChromeBook's screen. I would however advise using an external mouse (NOT BLUETOOTH).
@@VideoBee_YT can't he just mirror the image via HDMI to the screen capture card? On Windows you can do this and I think it doesn't affect the performance, but I might be wrong
You should turn the graphics down and take of all unnecessary displays and better looking settings, also maybe go to an fps boosting pack. Plus, you could maybe change your obs settings.
The best fps I got is 60-70. I thought it was good, until I saw other people's fps on RU-vid, and now I know my laptop is defiantly not meant for gaming.
i am thinking celeron prossecor is better then i3 ? cause 1st this laptop got 30-50 fps but at pvp bro it's so painfull.. event my potato laptop got 150fps with luner at pvp
I don't have a Chromebook, but a Lenovo Yoga 310. It has an Intel Celeron n3350 with an Intel Hd Gaphics 500 and 4GB Ram. With Linux Mint and some performance mods like Sodium I get a 50-60fps in 1.21 with 4 chunks renderdistance. It slows down when new Chunks are loaded. I play with vsync on because it is more stable, but if I turn it off I would theoretically get up to 130fps. In Singleplayer with a normal World. In Multiplayer I can smoothly play modes like Skywars, Bedwars, every other game at Hypixel. If you optimize the system very well, the game should run well. I don't know how effective Lunar Client is in this case because I just use Fabric. Nice video anyway :)
its the default polling rate of the chromebook its very low so when you move your mouse too quick it registers every 4-8 seconds rather than every 1 second which causes exses fps drop
I play on an old MacBook Pro with optifine 1.8 and the only problems I have is that I can’t run a higher version and after 1 hour the laptop turns into a portable leg warmer
this is a cpu bottleneck, not gpu bottleneck it won't work also, linux in chromebook only supports the default resolution. You have to manually add the modes to do that, which is extremely difficult.
@@sheggybruh3766 Pentium should only have 2, the difference between it and Celeron are higher clock speed and more functions. i3 shouldn’t have only 2 cores since of the addition of p-cores and e-cores in 12th gen
Now play Minecraft on VMware I tried playing Minecraft bedrock on VMware (windows 11) and getting 30-35 fps My specs i5 8265u (laptop) Intel UHD graphics 620 8 gb ram 1080P HDD (i have SSD but it was running low on storage) ASUS Vivobook X430FA
I remember testing Minecraft on my school chrome book one day with the Eaglercraft 1.5.2 link and damn, that thing had fps lower than my math test grades
Ummm... Dude, I'm pretty sure sudo apt update only updates the repos, you also need to do a sudo apt upgrade after that, otherwise your packages won't update...
i remember teaching the teacher how to play minecraft. So she was at her computer with minecraft and the whole class was like "You gotta kill the zombie"and then she started right clicking her sword lol
i play minecraft pe on my chromebook (with an external apk), the gameplay is very good, just laggy sometimes and somewhat bad mouse sensitivity, so i play with the touchpad, still the game on my chromebook is great and I think it is better than minecraft java for optimization PS: my chromebook has 8gb of ram
I dont encourage cracked but to get it on a crhomebook all you need to do is to download the .jar of launcher and install jre on the linux and the you will be able to run jar files which includes launcher. I used this method before I bought the actual Minecraft.
I think YOU must try to play in later versions with sodium i Had an old(2010) Laptop (4Go of ram and a little graphics Card) with Windows 10 and i Had about 40FPS with sodium but with optifine i Had only 30 FPS and with nothing i Had 25FPS
@@XTGTWISTEDisOG its a device/computer accessory specially for recording stuff on a computer, people use it so that there is no stress/fps loss on the device Even if you have a bad pc you can still record using that
There how to boost chromebook in minecraft 1. Make low resolution 2. Set scale to 90% (Optional) 3. Download Opti-Fine 4. Select lower version of minecraft 5. Set graphics settings to low and framerate set to maximum 6. Restart your chromebook 7. Powerwash your chromebook.
Try lowering your settings and DO NOT use hypixel on older/lower end pc's it is really bad also don't connect a external monitor and whatnot or it might be slowing it down try closing all baground apps and use a wired mouse and you may just get a 100 fps
Hi Notro. I own a Intel celeron n2840 4gb ram 500 gb hdd and a Intel HD graphics. I play minecraft with 100 fps in Linux but the matter is how are you recording this.Which screen recorder you use?
Until I get my new gaming PC as a graduation gift, this is the only way I can play Java Edition and i'm completely okay with it since the low graphics and 15fps framerate don't bother me that much Only issue I have is for some reason it keeps logging me out every time I close the launcher so I can't play offline
