Long time PQ watcher here, this is so awesome because I was actually IN this game (the second one) and it was CRAZY! I was the Mainz, I was able to burn down the pomm when they had 999 points, then I blind fired at the subs location after he pinged to win the game, I only had 300 hp left! Wows is often more frustration than fun these days, but this was an EPIC game!

These days, I feel that the gameplay style of hugging an island and going head-on in Stalingrad has become much more challenging than before. When I watch the gameplay videos that are uploaded, it seems like they only showcase special cases where high-risk, high-return strategies succeed, which raises some doubts. However, playing from one side and exposing the broadside doesn't allow for utilizing Stalingrad's strengths like the "hunting-citadel" angles. It might be necessary to reconsider and improve certain aspects of Stalingrad gameplay. If possible, it would be great to see a new gameplay video that addresses these challenges. Particularly, with the increasing use of submarines, going head-on while hugging an island has become quite difficult, which might explain why many of the existing videos feature scenarios without submarines. I always enjoy your videos. Thanks.

Mass is my go-to for tier 8 ranked and it serves me very well. At shorter ranges it feels an extremely overpowered cruiser.

I have both Mammies the B is my go to ship. Also I walk her decks every year. It's amazing in person.

PQ experiencing peak 2023 WoWs gameplay: - Submarines where the counter is just to run away or go behind an island - BBs where the balance was: SHOTGUN dispersion - Protected CLs - Secondary build being sub-par in randoms - Uptiered when playing ANYTHING else than a tier 10 - And yes, matchmaking is proper retarded - CVs that hit you for everything you own (except when you play it, then it is crap)

for me Massachusetts was always that bad, i dont know why some pepople like it. Maybe because its a very resiliant ship, but gunwise its absolute garbage

the Massachusetts is the only ship i paid cash for, and then it was only due to a freak situation were i got to stack two discounts on one purchase. it cost me all of 8 bucks and worth every penny.

After seeing that ricochet kill, i suddenly remembered the moment yesterday where i citadelled a really angled in Montana with my Yamato even tho i hit his belt ... i only had 3 hits 2 ricochets one cita... Wargaming...

i have noticed with the new ricochet animation the shells can ricochet into the superstructure and still do damage, i think thats how you killed him with the ricochet

I just got this ship from a BF box. Saved up all my doubloons for over a year and decided to gamble. Came out with my most desired ship. Woot!

Yep, Mass B is my fav but more recently I'm experiencing the same frustrations.

Aiming has just seemed wild lately, I find myself fighting with the mini map when I’m trying to aim with the little circle and it just jumps all over the place.

I've been playing the Flandre in T8 ranked and she does quite well against both the Mass and the Bismark twins. She's fast, stealthy-ish, has good aa and secondaries. Maybe take a look at her in a future video.

It is absolutely insane to me that there are so many premiums today. I remember when the tech tree ships vastly outnumbered them.

Played this ship just yesterday in a T10 game and was top of board with 4 kills. It's a good ship.

My favorite too…One of the best overall ship in the game.

I've found the entire "dreadnought" family of US battleships to be very tanky and difficult to take out. Every ship from the New York through the Vermont will just swallow damage, chew it up, and spit it back out. It's just something about how that line/model of ship is balanced. I did grab the Mass B today and so far it seems like a stronger NC - which makes sense to me. It seems solid, but I guess I need more than 4 or 5 games in it to make a fair judgement.

Man, those guns were painful to watch. You might want to try Alaska B, which is my favourite. However, we all know how strong that one is. At least that would make for a better experience PQ! Maybe do ranked in that one?

Sorry to say but Massa is my most played ship. Most krakens, 8 kill high count. Lately… I cannot hit the side of a barn, from the inside with these guns. Something has changed with her. 😢 I miss the old girl.

Leaning more to Vladivostok at Tier VIII. This version of the 16” doesn’t work anymore when uptiered. Vlad the Impaler has much more accuracy and penetration.

Is there any workaround for the aiming bug ? It is really annoying

They made BB dispersion vs DD better and worse vs all other types of ships. This and the NC are not what they used to be. Silent nerfs to the sigma that depends on what you are shooting at.

Started playing battleships again after going down several DD and cruiser lines, and even when I get a good result BBs just feel terrible right now. Probably bad luck on my part, but it feels like I'm just along for the ride in a BB rather than directly impacting the game unless I'm in something accurate like a Missouri.

If you do not like German BBs accuracy with 1.8 sigma there is no way you will like Massachusetts' 1.6 sigma. The only reason people think Massa's main gun is better is because it has 6 turrets to the front which gives it better pushing firepower than German bbs, and the fast heal that actually allows it to get into brawling range where accuracy means less.

Honestly, wish it was tier 9 just to get that American dispersion buff. The guns always lack, it's my go to for ranked but it's a ship where you pretty much know the secondaries are your only support.

NC being buffed has made her a little more interesting again.

I bought the BF version when it was going away and I'd only been playing two months. If we were only be uptiered by 1 instead of 2, this ship would be way more fun. Most games, I'd prefer the NC because it has so much better accuracy than Mass or AL. I do think it stronger in something like ranked or CB, though.

A bit off topic, but the match-making was so horrible for me last night as I was playing the Baltimore. It kept putting me in uptier battles with double subs and a CV and hardly any DDs. I felt so useless since I was constantly getting spotted and forced to kite away and then everything was out of range for me to shoot.

I have no luck with the dispersion there’s game where it hits and most games where the dispersion is like a shotgun

you should try her her with brisk instead of torpedo vigilance , like that with a speed flag she`s 31+knts when not spotted . makes it easier to use her as an ambusher then and able to run away when needed lol

This is why I don’t use my T8 anymore. I only get matches against T10s. So, I just take my T10 since I’ll be fighting T10s anyways.

I really hope it's purchasable again on Black Friday, it's my states ship, my localish museum ship and it's just cool so I want it obviously but I got back into WoW too late to be able to buy it for Black Friday so im really hoping they bring it back because Containers are just way too unreliable.

U.S. secondary ships lost a lot of their usefulness after the captain rework. It used to be that the gimmick for American ships was good accuracy but low pen. The German ships had good pen but low accuracy. Now the German ships have both and the American ships only have their old accuracy after the buff kicks in. Really killed the American secondary ships for me.

I have completely stopped plays BB's due to the aiming bug. I honestly don't know what to do anymore. You wait 30secs to completely miss your shot. Its so pathetic this is still an issue 2 years later.

hope you can help me here.. i see that you can see all premium ships in your tech tree. i can't see mine anymore. i use modstation, and in there it say under construction... what can i do to see it like you ? I don't know if they did something with massa.. i use to love the ship. now i can't hit a ship not moving at 10 km.. i use to cita alot with her, but not since the last 3 updates or so.. it's really not the ship i played before summer.

Christ the amount of holding fire only going for the most broadside of broadsides before ever firing. That Pommern would have died if more firing was done rather than ultimate broadside greed only. The induced range bugs with the constant zoom in and out firing

this thing has become a fat target for submarines...and i would definitely withdraw from the queue if i saw a sub in it...ive seen subs go str8 for me....and thats when you realize your a sitting duck... yeah you can always head to the middle as subs usually end up on the flank... and if your tier 8 in a tier 10 and do dmage to the 10s like the preusen you get big XP

mass dispersion isnt even good down around and below 10km for every good hit she gets, she gets 5-6 trash hits Like in ops, theres a stationary Myoko that one game, I nuke it for all 32500 dmg at 15km. Next time, Im lucky to hit it......

This is my problem with tier 8, I feel like I am playing tier 10 about 2/3 the time lately.

You complained about the ship in all your vids, but your aiming was abysmal. I play the Massachusetts quite often and you have to aim a little higher for some reason. It's still a good ship.

The qame is in the toilet, the only accurate ships are a few Russian ships, some cruisers , and super ships.
