Although I am guilty of doing the exact same thing for most of my time on handheld devices, It apparently damages the pins because our breath always contains vapor, which in turn rusts the metals causing poor connection. The simply act of pulling the cartridge out and putting it back in has more effect than blowing on it. Just thought I'd mention it if anyone want their games to last longer.

This brings me back to my childhood . I'm only 15 years old though and I had the Emerald Version never did get to finish it because I found Kyogre underwater and didn't know where to go next but I did get all 8 badges with a level 100 Blaziken.

You can transfer all your gba pokemon to pearl/diamond/platinum using a DsLite and from there to black/white and from there to the pkmn bank

Even more than that, you could use the time machine that existed in one of the first pokemon games, I think it was silver or something and from there to Ruby so technically, you can play now with pokemon that existed more than 15 years ago, which is crazy. I still have my Ruby pokemon here with me and that game in years will cost a fortune in Ebay and stuff as long as you have the box which contained the game with the instructions.

@@jjdpr You couldn't transfer between the gba games and gbc games. The technology was incompatible. Plus Gamefreak had changed the way stats worked and added extra features that the old pokemom wouldn't have had.

I was crying through out because so much memories when I was a child. Tho I haven't played it but I knew all of them because at the time it was my brother playing it. Now I'm playing it with my phone. I didn't stop ever since. Plus I love this video so much because I saw your happiness and memories same as me when I learned you can play it with your phone.

Fun story, me and my cousin used to trade games. We lost the copy of ruby in the yard one time when we were playing outside. Couldn't find it for months. Through rain and crazy southeast Texas weather, my grandfather (pepaw) hit it with a lawn mower. The front part of the cartridge was damaged badly (jagged and spikey) but we put it on our GBSP and it still worked! I played it for years after that. Used a gameshark on it, traded with friends and loved the heck out of it. Lost it again down the line. One of the best pokemon games. Good memories..

5:20 *Listen through the ears of your hearts. What can you hear?? The Pokemon Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire music in the background. When you are in the Slateport City you can hear that same background music, it is probably my favourite music in the whole game of the Pokemon Emerald version.*

I started playing Pokémon leaf green when I was 4-5 years old when I was 6 I got onto the final gym (don’t judge me) and I was fighting the gym leader and..boom..the ds broke because my dad sat on it (JEE THANKS DAD) that kids,was the worst day of my life but I am now happily playing ultra sun xD

You get Jirachi through Pokemon Channel, a nice relaxing Game Cube game where you take care of Pikachu

Yes. You see, for the US, you need the Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc for Jirachi (which you got along with the game if you pre-orderd it.) For Europe and Australia, you needed Pokemon Channel and you needed to unlock the full version of Pichu bros within the game. Later on, you can transfer Jirachi from Pokemon Channel to a European or Australian Ruby and Sapphire Cartridge.

The Pokémon fire red he has is fake as when he exited his menu it became a bit bright then full brightness which only happens in fake games

mine does that and its a real one , i bought it at gamestop 8 years ago , i still havr the manual and the box brand new , i even checked the circuit board.

I'm so jealous of your Pokedex. I found my gameboy advance yesterday, and saw I have 217 hours on Ruby but only 71 in the pokedex.. Also, the highest lvl pokemon in my party went from lvl 80 with Swampert down to lvl 47 with Sandslash.
