@@hlomlajikijela8645 You’re on crack if you think that’s true. Just look at the highlights and the stats. Cane was just over confident with Gray because of his arm
Bulls on parade baby!!!! I can guarantee you that UB North campus would be an absolute war zone of empty Labatt Blue cans when this team gets back home. What a win!! Also, major props on that 54 yarder, Cane. My jaw dropped for a solid 4 minutes after seeing that go through. Well done dude. You should be proud of this one!
@@RM33-p7z I am using the same sliders as him on heisman but not getting the same realism. So frustrating because I am loving the content and wanting to enjoy the game as much as I enjoy watching him play it. But right now the game is unplayable and arcade style for my games.
19:18 “it is CAUGHT BY CAJUSTE! AND A TOUCHDOWNNNNN” What a call what a call by cane, what a moment. All that pent up frustration and struggles for Cajuste, and I’m hyped man. I’m punching my pillow I’m so hyped
For immersion purposes I'm pretending it was all the doing of the recently hired OC. Reminds me of last season when Memphis hired a new DC after the regular season and out of nowhere held Iowa St. to zero yards rushing in a bowl win.
Where were you when the Myrtle Beach Miracle happened? Outstanding game, Cane; you blew my expectations completely out of the water. Fantastic playcalling-- what you were able to accomplish out of the pistol today is a glimpse at what this team's identity can be as a smash-mouth, power-run team. You've got two great backs, and your offensive line is just going to keep improving with better recruits coming in. Excited to see where the ride goes next!
NGL when they finally scored and then got the ball back I was terrified, horrified and even mortified 😱 But then Kobe Stewart said miss me with that nonsense 🤘
Seriously, Cane undergoes a transformation before postseason games. It's not that he doesn't try to win in the regular season but in the postseason he *TRIES* like his life depends on it. Something comes over him that causes him to plan and play so much better and it's been true for over a decade now.
@@DolFan316 He lowered the sliders, which Cane has always done in big postseason or bowl games to get the franchise moving in the right direction. I have been watching him since 2012, and regardless of what anyone says, I will die standing on this statement. Edit: He has been called out for this before, and in response, he has live-streamed to prove that the claims are false, but he mostly only does that when the team is in the correct position to win. Never in the beginning.
@@sirpuss5887 honestly, that’s just how these games are. It wants upsets. Just the other day I gave up 51 in a loss to James Madison, and then blew out Ole Miss in the same session.
I know playing Pacheco a lot in this game was not a super regular thing but I find the play calling against the bigger teams you have played to be a lot better especially when it comes to going the ball out much quicker. Good Shit Cane!
Finally caught up. Here's something interesting that I noticed that might effect how you approach sliders both in the Hurricanes and this series: -The defensive line and LBs tend to increase pass rushing (and pass rush physical abilities) at a disproportional rate compared to OL pass blocking. I've been having to consistently increase my pass blocking sliders in CPU vs CPU dynasties as time goes on to combat this. Right now I'm at 55 and still seeing some crazy games. When dynasties start, I'm running in the 45-47 range. -DBs and LBs get ridiculous catching ratings. I have DBs with hands in the 80s and their catching is 90+ all because the ball carrier part of hands doesn't progress the same. There's not much you can do to combat this other than running around 15 int and even then 16 feels like too much while 14 feels like too little. Those two issues combined lead to AI QBs playing piss poor, especially in CPU vs CPU. It doesn't help when the QBs decide to prioritize physical skills while still having lots of room to improve in ratings, but I've been cutting down on ridiculous interception games by combating the disproportional progression.
I’ve been watching manager/coach/career modes for a long time and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a moment as hype as what happened at 19:18. The sheer gall to go for it in that situation. And WITH Pacheco? To CAJUSTE? Amazing stuff. What a finale to this season.
This was a full on RUNNING OF THE BULLS!!! There’s always two teams in a bowl game, the team that wants to be there, and the team that doesn’t, Buffalo got up for this game, and Notre Dame got embarrassed. Loved that we got the win in this fashion! Great Season!!!
Cane had to pay the ref for that one first down, wasn't anywhere near the 26 lol. Then we see he had some Notre Dame players on the payroll with that Cajuste touchdown on 4th down
This game shows that when this team is focused and they have a good gameplan, they can be play with anyone. Great job, Cane. Let’s carry this momentum into next season, and have this be the norm, and not just a one-game-wonder.
The more I think about it, the more I really believe the key to this win was the OC change. I'm loving this new guy better already 🤘😁Also, this shows keeping the DC was the right move.
There's an old story about how the PS2-era NCAAF games were planned to feature fans climbing the goalposts in celebration, but the NCAA made EA take it out because they didn't want to endorse the practice. Would not be surprised if something similar applied here - that, and/or modern-day EA's signature corner-cutting deterred them from frying everyone's consoles with it. Take your pick of poison, I suppose.
Also, when was the last time you saw the field rushed after a bowl game other than for the title? I went to the Liberty Bowl when Memphis beat Iowa St. and nobody rushed the field even though it was for all intents and purposes a Memphis home game.
@@nicholasbuffone175 I could your first reason being likely. I do think the consoles could handle doing it, and I'm basing that only off of the zombie horde AI in Days Gone LOL
Need to say this before the offseason so it gets used. The overall boosts your players get in the offseason is not training. You have to buy that in your skill tree. What you are seeing is players spending their upgrade tokens which is why sperling didn’t go up in overall one year. Because he spent his tokens on his safety valve ability to upgrade it instead his overall attributes
Oh man what a turning point for the program this game was! Showing you can hang with the big dawgs is what’s gonna get those 4/5 stars in the door. Got a feeling there’s gonna be a lot of talent coming Buffalo’s way very shortly. Good job Cane
Notre Dame was the bane of my existence in my Akron dynasty. They beat me 3 straight years in the CFP 5-12 game. This game felt cathartic for me. It almost felt like I was the one blowing them out.
Great video as always. This game showed that more pistol going forward is a must. It lets you have a lot more different types of run plays that you have talked about wanting to add in a previous video.
Pacheco is that guy! Regardless of what his ratings are, his ability to run the pistol offense and be more accurate than expected gives this offense a MASSIVE boost - not to mention thay he can always scramble out of trouble if needed! I know you've always labeled Pacheco as a package player, Cane, but after this performance, he deserves a long look at potentially being QB1 - even if Elway progresses in the offseason. What a win!!!
Now that the season is over and I can look back, I do think a Pacheco led team could have been better. The offense lacked big plays and efficiency for much of the year. Pacheco would have had his struggles, but scrambling along with different run schemes could have made up for a lot. I assumed that with Watts the offense would just be Gunnar Gray Part 2, but Gray was significantly better.
First off well done. Great game. You deserve all the credit for building the defense and running game. I have to say though this game is proof that Pacheco should’ve been starting the whole season. I think if he was this team probably is in the MAC title game at least. Hindsight is 20/20 though. Great season. Great game
Bulls fans traveled well to South Carolina! Early prediction for next season (2027 I think, ) Cajuste for team MVP. In other 2027 CFB news, I predict Miami DE, Lightfoot, to win the 2027 Lombardi and Heisman.
A tremendous ending to season 3 of the dynasty. Very much looking forward to seeing how to transition this bowl success and having a winning season to season 4. Take care as the off season video can't come soon enough.
I think if we manage to keep Staley in the off-season you should look to make Elway the starter and keep Pacheco as a gadget player. We NEED to increase the passing yards per game so that he doesn't disappear.
I always knew the defense could be great, but i didn't know it could be this good, and with the offense showing up it's easily one of the best games in buffalo history.
Been watching cane for 10 years now, and damn, this is probably the most shcoking game I've ever watched cane play, unbelievable win. (As a brit who plays college football, even my blind british optimism couldn't have thought youd beat Notre dame 🤣 well bloody done)
What’s bounce back season. You can argue that last years team was more talented in some ways but this team came together especially the D-line and the run game. Watts had some incredibly clutch moments even tho he was inconsistent. Happy to see the improvements but I hope it wasn’t just a flash in the pan with the QB position in mystery land
The departures of Williams and Stewart legit had me shedding tears 😢 Then again Cane managed to replace the legendary Leon Daniels so maybe he can find someone at least in the same universe ability-wise as them.
Pacheco drives were great and watts drive were pretty bad. Happy to see him graduate 😂 congratulations for the bowl win. Hopefully you get upgraded to a two star
Are you playing on AA? I ask because I recently reverted back to AA because heisman was becoming too arcade like with the passing yards and completion %s after getting 10 sacks a game a week and a half ago. Once I went to AA and used Matt 10s sliders then the game was much more realistic and more of the playbook was usable. And Also still challenging. The gameplay I see in your games is much closer to what I see in AA. Unless my instance of the game is way buggy but not sure it is because I am seeing similar frustration from users on op sports.
@@MrHurriicane I hope this doesn’t come off wrong but the heisman game play you are experiencing is way way different than mine. The gameplay I am seeing in your games is more like what I am experiencing on AA. Heisman on my instance with the Matt 10 sliders plus some of your adjustments it is constantly 90% completion and 400+ yards for the cpu. There was the brief week I was getting 10 + sacks a game but still giving up a high percentage. Also running the ball is only doable in a spread set or with RPOs. Some how I was still winning 50% of my games but it just wasn’t fun because so unrealistic. Oddly the cpu running game is better in AA in my game instance. The blockers get in the way for me and the cpu in heisman level. I am highly disappointed with the game play of this game. Probably the worst I have seen in any ea football game.
Cane, how do you utilize more of your personnel? I’ve built up Vandy into a pretty decent program with athletes on both sides of the ball. I just struggle to get multiple guys involved on the offensive side of the ball. Feels like the game goes by too quickly, and at the end of it, it’s the same guys getting the ball and some real play makers are left with no production.
It's bittersweet because it feels like this team had the talent to win the MAC if 1-2 key plays would've gone differently/Richie Watts had played better/Eric Pacheco had played more
I watched every ep from 1 to now !! Now I’m all caught up and have nothing to watch… which makes me goto YT explore …Best dynasty in YT … hurry up and drop some more of tht heat I’m excited to see what your players you recruited gone do !! Good job !! And also good content I love your style n the way you do your vids !!
I have been watching this channel for a very long time, and I have to say that this might be favorite win across both channels just for how unexpected it was
I've already pronounced it Cane's magnum opus, and considering how money he is in the postseason that's REALLY saying something. Only other Cane NCAA bowl games even in the conversation are the comeback from 34-10 down to beat Arkansas and the Kallispell wins over Penn St. But he's never curbstomped a better team like this.
I honestly don't see how their program can ever recover from this in-universe. They might as well have sat all their starters, likely would've gotten a better result if they had!
