After Royal County Down we made the hour or so trip to Holywood Golf Club. The home club of PGA Tour professional RORY MCILROY. Unfortunately we didn't have time to film the amazing clubhouse and training facility and all the other cool stuff that Rory has done to his home club. Not too many people talk about this course when it comes to Northern Ireland golf, but I thought it was totally worth it. The views of Belfast were incredible and it was a nice change of pace from the Links golf we had played previously!

I live in Maine and I learned how to play at Waterville Country Club. It’s 12 degrees here tonight and I’m playing 9 tomorrow morning. Last round of the year. High of 30 degrees

Hey Brodie just a putting tip : If you released the toe of the putter more like Tiger does, instead of sending the face down the start line your putts will roll better keeping the putter on the natural arc path. Love the vids ! Best golf vlogs!

I learned to play golf at the true home of golf...Scotland. if you want a true challenge play the links courses in Scotland as it's the most difficult with the elements always against you. What I did learn was playing a round in Spain and Florida was a easy walk in the park compared to where I was trained. Great video Brodie and kelsey

The first course I ever played was Purple Sage Golf Course in Evanston, Wyoming. I actually ran equipment building the course two years before I ever played it. Back then I rode bulls and we talked smack about golfers... Whoops! How time changes things. Love the content, as always. Glad your back doing your thing.

My home course is located in the town of Uppsala wich is about 15 miles north of Stockholm and the course is so old so it has the name of the city in 1929 ”Upsala Golfklubb” i realy recomend the 18 home course. Now i play the course designed by Henrik Stensson called Österåkers Golfklubb wich is even better!! That one i definetly recomend!

So I picked up golf in November 2018 because my uncle plays and I wanted to play with him when he visited for holiday. Sadly he passed in January of this year but I decided to keep going. Shooting between 80 and 85 now looking to break 80 soon :)

Im in jacksonville, i just started playing in june this year. I play normandy, hyde park, and sometimes bent creek. Shooting 105 ish, with a pb of 101. Trying to break hundred. I dont realy have a teacher just figuring it out myself. Just up and decoded at 34 i meeded to find something to do to waste time and kinda decided on golf.

My first course was Macktown Golf Course in Rockton Illinois. Still going strong. Nice old course, smaller greens, plenty of trees. Not many long holes, but a lot of doglegs and tough approach shots to, let's say, wavy greens. Still play there.

Grove brook grove city Ohio it’s no longer there. Bolton field which is now Mentel memorial Split Rock Foxfire all central Ohio around Columbus these were my regular spots And Phoenix a links course built on a trash dumb no longer there lol

The first place we moved to from California was in Maryland and my grandma took us in for our first year. She lived on Caroline Country Club in Denton MD. She lived on hole 17 and we would do the same thing. Play 18 then next to that was hole 15 and we continued till 17 (our little loop). My father and grandmother taught me how to play and I fell in love with it.

My home course as a kid was Clandeboye which is about 10 miles or so from Holywood. It has 36 holes; one course is very short and narrow (irons off most tees) and a much longer and quite difficult course.

Spring Wood golf course (now bridge water) York Pa, they sold some land and turned the land into houses and turned it into a 9 hole course =( course was gorgeous, narrow, hilly and rough was tough. They charged 100 bucks a round and thought people from Baltimore and Harrisburg and everywhere else would travel down to play, but they should of thought about the locals and maybe they would still be in business. Club house (restaurant) was on top of a hill looking into the course ( still is but you have houses in the way) and the sun set would fall behind the the course, it was beautiful.

Lake Hills Golf Club, St. John Indiana, my dad made my first set when I was 3, threw a ball down said hit it, still one of the only lessons I've ever taken. Golf has been a love hate relationship my whole life. I got into way too much trouble in high school and ruined any type of golf career I had when I dropped out.

I hope you had a chance to play The Royal Belfast?! It's down the street from Holywood and its the oldest golf course in Ireland. Was told that it's Rory's second home. I played there late September. Its beautiful out there and everyone in Belfast are so nice!!

I played all over growing up - but my main childhood course, I worked out there as a kid, cleaning range balls in exchange for free golf. It got pretty well destroyed by an EF5 tornado. Was never the same after that. It's since been closed and houses are going in.

Your chipping swing is very different than I was taught. Depending on distance and the placement of the ball in the grass, your suppose to choke up put ball forward in stance, open stance, and push club forward and don't bend your wrist. But I guess whatever works.

Belmont golf course in Richmond va. Great course. Sam Snead played there and drove one of the greens on a very difficult par fours. We always use to try and do it. But.... never did.

They are trying to build on our course as well. Out here in northern California Stockton Ca. They shut down the south side course, but Swenson Golf course is still fighting to stay open and that's where I first played.

The closest course from me growing up was a 15min bike ride from our house but they had a 7 years que to become a member so I had to become a member at another club with a 30min car ride away for the 7 years. That blew. In central Sweden.

Grew up playin silver lake golf club 8n waterford michigan with my dad 9 hole podunk little course but it has sentimental value for me. A few years before he died we got to play in a league together and we won so lots of good memories
