@@MrBenigi Souls are fun to play the first time, and they have what presents itself as a compelling story(Although, it really isnt, because its intentionally nebulous, leaving WAYYYYYY more questions than answers, and the answers it does give you are functionally meaningless, and dont form any kind of cohesive narrative) Dont get me wrong... theyre not trash... And mechanically and programming wise there games are ALOT cleaner/better/more stable..... But even with cleaner better gameplay, the gameplay is definitinitively one dimensional, and the story, while presenting itself as meaningful, ultimately becomes the obviously meaningless filler that it is, which leaves a dissatisfied sort of tricked and wasted time sort of a feel.... Skyrim has various approaches and styles, with mods, mountains of mechanical dynamics, but even out of the box 100X any souls game... It is bethesda jank, for sure, but theres layers and layers and layers of stories that directly interact with the character, their interactions, game play, and the world. Souls are sort of fun, for a minute, if your into it. I could NEVER watch someone play souls XD Id rather eat my own eyes
Same, I just don't like to look at the comments and see everyone backseating and criticizing the way the streamer is playing the game. I see that in every video it's crazy, Skyrim fans are wild
I do not see the 'death penalty choice going well... This game has WAY too many unique items... I wonder though, if she can get them back by loading a earlier save... Also, given that this game scales the fights to your level, losing your items at higher levels might make some parts almost unplayable...
Losing all your stuff when you die is seriously going to ruin your game. This game is heavily gear oriented. Without good gear your power is severely compromised.
What i hate in seeing these streamers playing Skyrim is the fact that they keep reading the comments and speaking with the audience instead of paying attention to the dialog which is the best part of the game.
They pressured her into being a wood elf for the power when there's an equivalent shout that does the same thing but better and a blessing that does it and lasts 24 game days.
@@Pedro.Amarales Real, não entendi qual a lógica de coloca um mod desse num jogo que você não sabe nada sobre. Pelo menos a gameplay de Fallout New Vegas ficou muito melhor
I think you lost a quest item when you died the second time... That means that you can never complete that quest... If you did lose it that is going to make the game impossible to play... Not because of that quest, which is not that important, but because a lot of the IMPORTANT quests depend on you having certain keys, artifacts, weapons, etc...
Also, I forgot to mention... With survival mode on, you can die just from being caught outside in the cold... Survival mode can be a lot of fun, but the second you lose your equipment, you are going to freeze to death in a few minutes!!! Again, I would try playing for at least a few missions before turning on the 'death penalty'... Or maybe just set it to lose all your gold... That is bad enough in survival, where you NEED to be able to rent rooms, and buy rations...
First time and playing on survival mode? Phew, thats pretty hardcore. I have like a 1000+ hours in the game (yes, I was in the chess club) and I still never wanted to try survival mode out coz it seems like a drag.
Great start. Skyrim is my favorite of all time. Don’t like the mod. For 1st playthrus only graphic and maybe a UI mod imo. Also chat has spoilers instead of tips sometimes.
Controller vs. Mouse and Keyboard: I think the only advantage with using Mouse and Keyboard is the fast wait/sleep mechanic. Normally you have to wait about 1 second for each hour you wait or sleep but you can speed it up to only about 1 second, total, no matter how many hours you wait/sleep. Here's how: - Bring up the wait or sleep window - Use your mouse to move the slider to how many hours you want - *KEEPING THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON DEPRESSED* hit the activate key (default 'E') or Enter and move the slider back down to 1. Your wait/sleep time will flash by. This is impossible to do with a controller.
"Archery is lame" - lol, everyone becomes a stealth archer eventually. Funny, this is one of the few "first time" play-throughs that actually enables survival mode. Normally the lack of fast travel is what turns off most players. Let's see how long that lasts.
I’m sure the game was effectively broken after the first time she died losing whatever quest items she had, then the survival mode working against her, what better way to welcome her to Tamriel than complete and utter chaos, i couldn’t look away, then you get robbed by a child?🤣
@@fluttenvods Enter dungeon, get killed, respawn inside the dungeon door, lose everything, get killed because naked and unarmed, respawn, flee back through door before getting killed, try to make it back to town without gear, fail get killed, respawn outside dungeon, try again, make it to town, go to player home where you have a storage chest with spare gear and gold, fail to enter house because NO DAMN DOOR KEY. Pro Tip: Most "deep immersion" mods are designed by either complete idiots, or people with 5000 hours of play time who WANT the game to be basically impossible. NEVER install these. Edit: AND you turned on "Survival Mode", so your naked unarmed ass will die of hypothermia and starvation before you can get back to town and the house you no longer have a key to, where you stashed your spare stuff. Outstanding, stop listening to "Jimmy" as he broke your game.
the key thing was pretty funny but also an oversight with the mod setup, fixed it for the 2nd day and key/quest items don't get lost upon death now and playthrough has been going smoothly ever since :D
Then just call them childlike. "Milkdrinker" only make sense in moderm times when only children drink milk, because mongols drank milk and raped half of europe.
@@jasonh6207 I never said it made sense in the real world, but you have to remember this is a semi=historical world and in medieval european times, nobody but kids drank milk, and few people drank water because it was ususally contaminated by effluent and disease. Most people if they could, drank some form of beer.
Did it count for main quest items I would be worried because my husband played morriwind and lol he dropped his scroll within he said 10 mins of playing and never got to finish the main story line nowadays they make it so that don't happen but I would be worried
having all your equipment deleted on death has to be probably the worst way to play this game. better to lose gold or xp, there's lots of unique items in this game and paired with survival you're just spending hours recollecting basic scraps that can barely keep you fed.
a guy i dated introduced me to Skyrim, my love for Skyrim out lived my love for him 🤣 u may know this by now as i saw video 10 is on ur list but u mention pink hair, yh u can if u add a mod, there are a few to chose from. i usually have light pink hair on my females Teresa, Aurora or Faith. i believe one called Racemenu has it. and im sure there more, u could add it to ur current play, press the button below esc with the 3 icons on it, i forget its name. and type showracemenu then enter, it should let u change there like at the start
racemenu does allow for more control of stuff like hair color, but there are also mods that add more hairstyles, too. the 2 really well known ones are Apachii and KS Hairdos.
I never though about you losing the keys... After you spend thousands building a mansion, and upgrading it, and then not being able to get back in it!!! I am sorry, but I do not think that mod is suitable for long term play...
How can you say you are playing skyrim for the first time if you play it with mods?? That's not even skyrim anymore, i hate people like you, "I'm playing skyrim for the first time" oh i play with mods that change what skyrim is by the way
I am trying to think why someone would play a 10+ year old game that has literally 1000's of mods to make it look like a modern game with 1 mod that makes the game worse and the only thing I can come up with is either you didn't know about the mods that make the game look beautiful or you wanted the experience of what is was before you mod. When this came out the game looked good for the time but now without mods it does not.
nothing bothers me more than watching a playthrough of someone who just picks up every. single. item. like, you’ll never need that tankard or the 4 extra sets of armor you have. just stop.
