Hi there, loved the vid, we stay at the Dusit Thani and play tennis there on the courts with the best view. The hotel needs to invest in them a little bit though

Hey there Stephen, thanks for watching the video. Yes, the view there at Dusit Thani was awesome. I agree with you though, they definitely need to be resurfaced soon.

great vid, I'll be playing at Siam tomorrow morning. Yes, heard they're fast courts a little worrisome.

Thanks Eric! Let me know how it goes. I was able to adjust by turning my body and getting my racquet back earlier than normal.

@@primaltennis It wasn't as fast as I thought it might be..overall decent courts for such a hot/humid climate. Now 350 baht an hour.

Hey Buddy, usually stay in Cebu but plan to visit Thailand. Love tennis as well and plan on playing a lot over seas.

Hi Joel. Great to hear. I love Cebu as well. I play a lot at Asmara, and at CitiGreen as well.

Are those the 2 places to play in Cebu? Going to be there for the next few months

Hi Roger, I just posted a video about the courts in Cebu City on my channel. Yes, those are the two primary tennis facilities. Asmara is my favorite. Good laid back vibe - with a two story lounge overlooking the courts - outdoor restaurant, bar, seating, and expats hanging out. Citigreen is good too (red clay and covered roof) but it takes some work to book a court and get transportation there.

Hey bud, Cebu has a healthy tennis community. I stayed 6 months there. Played mostly at Asmara Urban Resort (my favorite), and also CitiGreen is good. Dumaguete City has a club called Praxevilla which was fun too. Never been to Manilla. Check out some of my other videos, I did some Cebu City tennis. Let me know if you have any questions!

They used to play WTF tournaments at Dusit years ago. Shame about the lack of maintenance.

Really? That's awesome. Yeah, they were getting in rough shape last time I was there. Really nice hotel though.

Covid hit them hard. But, yes. They've lost the plot. Some new courts coming up though (Tara has 3 new indoor courts).

Hello Eric, this is exactly the video I was looking for. do you know where and when a trainer for 2 weeks can be found in pattaya

Appreciate that Jurgen, my videos purpose are to help. I would recommend Fitz club for a tennis instructor. I saw some good instructors there, but more expensive. I also saw an instructor at Siam Bayshore, which became my favorite place because the location was the easiest to get to. I did not get to meet him.

Siam Bayshore courts are in horrible condition, slip and slide on the chipped up sandy surface, and chase your balls into the surrounding gardens which are not fenced off. You missed some of the best courts in Pattaya, Pattaya Inter and of course, all the courts in Sri Racha, hotel courts open to public (Ambassador), etc.

Gil thanks for the heads up. I didn't know the Sri Racha courts were open to the public. I'll be back in Pattaya sometime in early 2024 and will try it out as well as Pattaya Inter. The Siam Bayshore middle court might be the best. I didn't realize pay attention to the cracking except for on the first court.

Hi there. Are all 6 of the courts in horrible condition? Or is it just one or two. Thank you.
@primaltennis

@@richardbithrey6871 At siam bayshore there was only three if I remember correctly. I didn't find them to be horrible, I played quite a few high level matches there. They aren't in great shape, have some cracking, and play fast. I should be out there again in the next few months and will update again.
