Playing the BEST T7 Heavy in World of Tanks! 

The fact that WG nerfed HE and still to this day hasn't touched the Japanese heavies shows they don't care, cause the derp guns were what made them fun and great against the hulldown meta

I respect that QB is rationalizing the RNG of the shot against the T32. But that doesn't address the issue that this was actually a WG problem. 15:40 - Live in the game, what QB sees should have been a penetration through the mg port. His game client side doesn't show the Tiger gun in the way at all. 17:39 - However serverside has the wreck of the Tiger in a different position. So the replay shows that there is a HUGE discrepancy between server/client sync. There is no reason for there to be any desync between clients of a wrecked tank. It is no longer receiving any human input so modeled shape should be identical between every player in that game.

I believe the word you're looking for is "awning". The little roof that extends over a door.

Compare 15:40 and 17:39. The Tiger barrel wasn't in the same position in the live gameplay and the replay. It's a pretty huge discrepancy actually.

With the auto cannons in the game they should make those O-ni turrets shoot now.

Reason I love my O-NI and O-HO 1. The O-NI is the only heavy tank that has the biggest caliber gun at tier 7 and it can overmatched the roof of the BZ-176 (149.1mm that fires AP) 2. I prefer to use the derp gun more than the 105mm gun who needs penetration when I can overmatch roof decks 3. On Glacier map I found a hidden spot where the O-NI is tall enough not to get drown 4. I love to "nerf" premium tanks with it >l:) 5. O-NI chan will always protect is tier 7 tech tree tanks against OP premium tanks 2:40 (Uh correction is NOT 152mm but is actual caliber is 149.1mm)

Finally, O-ni getting recognised, done 3rd marked mine using the 15cm for fun.

QB, if it is solid, most likely a roof "overhang", but if it was cloth it would be an "awning". Have a nice day.

O-Ni is definitely among my all time favorite tanks. Even tho it has those mini turrets, it's not that restrictive as the O-Ho is.

That tiger gun was not in the same spot in the replay as it was in the game. At 15:40 it was not in the same place as in the replay at 17:39

I think that with the lack of games played in the O-Ni the stats are kinda skewed. The T-29 is only 0.2% behind and has been played 10x as much. The tiger too is not far behind with even more games. (Edit): I feel that the games show this, even though QB was against tier 8 tanks the tank just doesn’t perform well, it’s a tank that you play for those top tier matchups and when it’s against higher tier tanks it struggles hard with its armour, I feel that if he was in a t29 or a tiger he would of done a lot more.

I thought it would be the Tiger 1. Insane DPM, 3rd marks on that tank was so easy too.

QB shot at T32 just disappears. Clearly aimed at hull of tank NO rocks within aim circle, just flat out ghost. Surprising also because QB was shooting Gold. We all know tapping the 2 key gives you better RNG. Rock on Tankers 🤘😎

"Overhang" might also work in some circumstances. "Canopy" is usually reserved for a soft covering.

I got Tarzay medal with T-150 back in the days with one-use repair kit. Back then it felt more awesome.

You should start a playing series where you play the tank that's in the middle with WR difference

Those shots going wild and missing looked a lot like my rng earlier today.

Apart from the Type 5 this was the last Japanese "box tank" that I had. I disposed of those vehicles as I looked for crews for the Japanese TDs and the "modern" heavy line.

I adore the Japanese superheavies, it's one of my favorite tank lines in the game, but the HE nerfs hit them so damn hard. Really feel like they could use a TINY bit of help in the late tiers. The O-Ni is good tho.

WG massively buffed the 105mm gun kn the T-32, but massively nerfed the exact same gun on the T-29.

You should concider that there are tanks who are mainly played with gold ammo only. No wonder those tanks are highly ranked in the stats. A look on the profitability stats should help...

Back in the day he derp on the oni was very effective. Now its a meatball for most. 45tp is a monster compared to oni.

why all terrain suspension? why not increase the track health. or at least don't pick anything. but to lower the track hp on a tank like this..... and by the way, it will still go at full speed on soft terrain with increasing the track health.

Love my O-Ni! Still has my highest XP record! Although it is tough to use, I still prefer the derp gun. I find myself seeing more tier 6s than I do 8s, so I still keep it around. Just started using it again after about a year of it collecting dust. Trying to unlock all of the field mods for it.

So the collaboration with Droodles quickybaby. It’ll help both channels grow and bring in more players to both games

You have the exemple of why I've stopped shooting PL tanks with standard ammo. They are idiot proof with stupid armor and insane alpha so I've got 0 wrong feeling about paying to destroy them

I have one Billotte's medal for destroying 2 enemies while having 5 damaged modules/crew members and losing 80% hit points, replay video in my channel. I didn't even know there's a higher Tarczay's medal in the same category and QB, playing for 12(?)+ years only have one. Talk about WG and their unachievable medals.

WR diff is not a perfect metric either to determine the best tank, because of skill cap and skill floor. The O-Ni might give low WR players a lot of value, but a T29 has higher potential and it will give higher WR players way more value in proportion compared to the O Ni. All depends on what you consider a better tank: one that elevates your WR in general, or one that has advantages that only higher skill players can use.

Hi QB, what you experienced was sort of the "average non unicorn" player experience in World of Tanks. Bad rng coupled with hulldown meta, just almost no fun anymore......

I am not a statistician but when you have a tank that is only played 14k in a small period vs a much more popular tank with 107k battles. I think we can disregard these slight performance differences. More players are playing the T29 and can average out this tank. Where the top 4 other tanks combined only have 37.42k games, or not even a 33% of the T29’s games. Maybe there are better performing tanks and could encourage players to play other tanks to understand what happens players are clustering around a ‘meta’ tank to play it far more. Maybe it is better and the O-Ni would have worst player stats if it was played as much. So rare stats do lie Will.....

It is really sad to see what has become of these once wonderful tanks after the HE nerf. You have to load gold ammo all the time especially when you play the type 4 and type 5, as they have very poor pen values.
