Dear Sam and Colby, In my town, there is an abandoned/haunted hotel in our park. It is easy to get into and isn't surveillance. Several of my friends have gone there before with Oujia Boards and said they experienced paranormal things. (Edit: idk why so many people are seeing this all of a sudden 😳 but I just want let you all know that the hotel is getting demolished

Im always paranoid of elevators cuz 1. It might fall and break down 2. It sometimes makes creepy noises 3. Space issues 4. You don't know what you might see when the elevator opens

You did most of it exactly right, except right at the start when it took you down from the lobby, you needed to return up to the lobby, get out, & start over. So from that point on, the ritual was broken. Also, the girl doesn’t always get on when you hit 5th floor - doesn’t mean you did anything wrong, she’s just busy tormenting others at the moment (for which you should feel thankful & keep going).

Also I just noticed that the elevator is a vortex.

My theory is that when Sam was in the 'alternate dimension', the reason he kept hearing those noises was because in the 'real world' someone was there, but he couldn't see them. So when the elevator door opened after he exited the elevator on the 10th floor, that was either someone in the real world coming into the 10th floor or leaving it, but Sam couldn't see them because he was in a alternate dimension. This also makes sense why people usually can't see ghosts, it's that they are in the alternate dimension, so in turn, the people in the real world couldn't see Sam because he was in a place where it wasn't possible to see him. This also explains the door he heard opening a bit, since that door was in the real world, he couldn't see it opening and couldn't see the person walking through it. "But wait, if he couldn't see the door opening then why was he able to see the elevator open?" Good question, my theory is that because the elevators are the only link between the 'alternate dimension' and the 'real world', so that would mean that would be the only thing that Sam would be able to see with both worlds properties.

So rewatching this after years and Sam just scared the crap out of me. When he exits the elevator on the 10th floor (10:15) I expected him to turn around with the camera to film the inside of the elevator. Instead he turns the camera to himself which caught me off guard and had me jump. Love your old vids Sam

Dear Sam, you should play "red book" :). I've played it multiple times with my friends in places like the cemetery or the woods and it's pretty cool. It's safer than ouija but it's the same concept. You just use a book to communicate with spirits. It's worked for my friends and I. Some things can happen if you play it wrong, but for the most part it's pretty safe and fun. We've heard pounding footsteps and seen spirit orbs in front of our eyes, along with random cuts appearing when breaking rules.

A girl in Korea did this game at the age of 10 and it worked. However, she said it was the 4th floor that the little girl appeared and got on at. She said the girl jump into the elevator smiling but she had no physical presence so when she landed it made no sound. She also said the building where it worked was really old as well. She said as she was trying to undo the ritual and get off the elevator, the little girl got off on one of the floors and as the doors were closing she tried to run back in, but she was not smiling and her form started shifting. In Korea and Japan most buildings do not have a 4th floor, because in Korean and Japanese the number "4" means "shi" which also means "death". They had to create a new word for "4" because of this. So if the building does not have a number "4" floor, then the 4th floor would actually be the 5th floor, which may be why most people cant get it to work because of they are not going to the correct floor which would be the actual 4th floor in USA. Some people say that some buildings wont work and will have to try others, but the Korean girl said she was haunted by the little girl on and off for like 2 and half years, even trying to trap her in an elevator in another instance while is was slowing falling. It also not just her, its also other people that said they got it to work and they have huge anxiety issues after seeing the girl and now have to see a shrink.

Dear sam, I just wanted to tell u a short story about me in an elevator Me my mum and my older sis where coming back from the shops we were taking an elevator to get to where the trains were at the train station and as we were going an old man yelled ” WAIT FOR ME! ” So we let him go in behind us once we got to the trains we went to let him go out but he was completely gone * POOF * Vanished we didn't know where he went than as we were going by I saw a security tape and it showed the old man disappearing into thin air behind us but he brushed past me and he felt like a real human and I KNOW it wasn't a dream cause my mum and sis also remember so that was weird but apart from that nothings happened to me yet

Sam, I know I am late but if you ever read this then I think you should play the red book game, it is basically a ritual to communicate with spirits, I once tried it with 0% confidence but I don't how but it worked! HOW TO PLAY? You have to get a book of red colour, it can be any book. Then you can start asking questions but the first thing you have to ask it is "red book may I enter your game?" Then open a random page of the book using your intuition and keep your fingers in a random page, remember, do not open your eyes while doing this, then see where your fingers landed, if it says "no" and doesn't let you enter the game then please DO NOT CONTINUE. Same thing goes for the end, ask the book "red book, may I leave this game now?" If it says "yes" then you may leave, if it says "no" DON'T leave because, it is said that the spirits may follow you home if you do not leave properly! By the way, the game is most active at night and I recommend you try it in any of the haunted locations ya'll visit! 😅
