Based on what I've seen of this "Jeopardy!" DVD game, it looks and feels as awesome as the real thing! But there's something missing: an option allowing players to incorporate some of the real show's former elements/icons into the game (such as allowing the set to change color from blue to red for Double and Final Jeopardy, incorporating old graphics and/or set designs, or electing to use an alternate Trebek with a mustache).
I got it on DVD for my birthday in 2020! It features the season 23 intro sequence and graphics. So, this was clearly made around 2006. I'm still trying to get it to work, and when I do. Hopefully, it will be great.
As far as I remember, you should preferably start with the Category that you know the most of & you should oftentimes try to find where the Daily Double is hidden.
Yeah, I had that version. The 1994 one with the '91 set and theme. I lost the game since, and I have the Sega CD version (emulated), and I'm trying to get the PC one off of Amazon.
my advice is this i found out the problem the dvd game base needs a fresh pair of 4 aa batteries in it for the buzzer programming now after you put in a fresh pair of batteries in turn on and load the game then go to buzzer setup and follow the prompts first press the right arrow key the wait for a prompt that says press again do that then it will say press next button on your dvd remote aim it the at the dvd player and press next button the repeat the process for the other button prompts.
I got this for Christmas and can't get it to work. My dog chewed up our remote and I didn't have enough batteries, so I was running around town all day trying to get the parts, and it still doesn't work... :(
However, had the game been released (and given the timeframe between the releases of Pat Sajak's Lucky Letters in 2006 and the 2010 Wii game), it would have been the first Wheel game to feature Pat Sajak, and the first to use the Wild Card.
The next time Jeopardy does a DVD game, it will probably have Ken Jennings hosting and either Brad Rutter or James Holzhauer reading the clues. And during the credit roll, it should have a dedication to Alex Trebek. "This game is dedicated to the memory of Alex Trebek, 1940-2020."
@Seth62392 Actually, it sucks. My brother got it for me and we could never get it to work no matter what we did. I happened upon this video because I was trying to get it to work.
